Engine: 6G74 3.5L V6

Exhaust: Standard

Suspension: Standard

Wheels: stock 16 inch AWD rims (for now)

Modifications:

Stereo Audio / Visual: Auto-Media USB, CD, Radio etc head unit (for now), 6.5 inch Response 2 ways, stock tweeter splits and stock 6x9's

Estimated Power: 154KW according to owners manual

A magna with a tail shaft!!!???

It was born in Tonsley Park, S.A. Only about 1000 AWD’s made. It has a 5 speed tippy gearbox, rear LSD, centre LSD and open front diff, ventilated discs all around, twin piston front calipers (same brakes as the Ralliart model).
The AWD uses more fuel than the FWD magna because of the extra weight (1.7 tonne compared to 1.5 tonne) and extra drive-train loss, but weight = more comfy and the increased traction and handling is a worthy sacrifice. Life is too short to be green or bitch and cry about fuel.

It's very cruisey yet it handles insanely well for a large Aussie-built family car. I get the impression that all cars should be All Wheel Drive.

Out of curiousity... what would be involved in throwing the factory V6 out and putting the GTO 3.0L TT in? A majority of Mitsubishi gear is interchangeable yeah?

More power would be nice, though I'm quite happy with it for now and I've only owned it for a couple of months. I think the GTO engine is positioned 180 degrees the other way? But I know of some AWD magna owners who have done a mitsubishi 380 (3.8L) engine conversion because the couplings and electrics are very compatible. Gives a fair amount more torque and KW. That plus a supercharger kit like the TMR 380 would be the go if i had the money. Throttle body remains the same (to do with cable throttle vs drive by wire on the 380) but engine mounts, gearbox couplings and ECU wiring is much the same I believe...

Yeah, because in the 2nd gen the V6 engine faces 180 degrees the other way. Easy swap over, but that's all good and well but you'd be putting all that power to only the front wheels!

So how far will commonwhores and failcons do on all terrain?...............

As far as the first corner, wheelspin or sliding does not count, all 4 paws must be down on the road, not spinning, just gripping.

Updates. Removed leds and installed factory fog lights, added tow bar and plates.
