Hey boost, pretty much finished my S15 so thought I'd chuck it up. In a nut shell; fresh rebuilt SR20, solid head, massive intake porting and port-matched exhaust side, custom Tomei cams - 260/10.5mm lift and retains VCT, splitfire coilpacks, Garret 3071r T2, on 16psi and on a very safe conservative tune on the rebuilt engine makes 240kw.

6 point roll cage, Driftworks CS7 coilovers, Cusco/Silk Road/D1 control arms, Tomei 2 way LSD, Work VSKF's, Apexi PowerFC engine management and RSM, Defi style gauges (oil temp, water temp, oil pressure), Greddy Oil relo kit, interchangble street and track exhaust systems from the dump back, Jim Berry custom Exedy Hyper Single clutch - 3600lb pressure plate, 4 puk solid center, 8.2mm carbonic buttons, 5 bolt half shafts, stainless steel everything, braided lines, drycell battery, nismo mounts, solid cradle bushes, custom metal guards etc, the list goes on and on.

Bought it completely stock in 2010, much time, money and effort put into it, hope you enjoy smile.gif

Many thanks to
- East Coast Customs
- JDM Garage
- Cameron's Bodyworks
- Countless mates who have donated their time and skills to help me get this to where it is today

The old engine..

Yeah I know it certainly is strange how some break and some don't.

Clint with the pewter s15 has a whole collection of broken 5 speeds in his garage
Tristan with less than 300hp has gone through three 5 speeds
Markos's old s15 smashed his 6 speed after the 200kw mark

Funny you should mention the rb20 box, on my last car, the rb25 s1480, that was running an rb20 box and it loved life, (albeit only a stock rb25 making 305hp).

I can understand people breaking them from crappy shifting, but when it strips the teeth off the gears under acceleration don't think there's much you can do to prevent that, if it's gonna break it's gonna break.

My rb20 box only lasted 3 months behind my standard rb20 lol

SR 5 speeds not much better?? I always thought they were pretty reliable.

Can Appreciate everything youve done as you have done an amazing job but the look just isnt for me especially with the rims.

S1480 is my favourite combo tongue.gif and with an RB its the icing on the cake tongue.gif

    Some day aha.

    Good luck with it!

Yeah VSKF and Kranze are my favourite rims. My VSKF's are:
    Front - 18x9" +9 R-Disk (BKB) with 215/40/18
    Rear - 18x9.5" +14 O-Disk (BKB) with 225/40/18
and each corner owes me about $500 on modified metal guard work + paint

I am actually. I've been playing with Silvia's since I was 17, I'm 25 next month and I'm supposed to be buying a house at the end of the year and at the rate I spend money on cars that's not going to happen so unfortunately it has to go.

Yeah I was pretty devo'd. It happened on the 3rd corner of the 1st lap at the first drift day I went to after getting the new turbo, cams, injectors and fpr put in and tuned.

Was even more disappointing because the car had been driving great for the week prior between getting it tuned and the track day. I even had it serviced (oils changed etc) before the track day. Sadly I think it was just that engines time.

Vid of it dying, literally first lap (car in front spun twice that's why start/stop so often)
