I know it's nothing special compared to some of the cars on here but I'll post it up anyways with a little info and I'll use this spot to dump new photo's of it when I get around to shooting them.
I'm the original Aussie owner of the vehicle. I purchased it about 5 years ago to replace my aging R32 Gts't. I was looking for either a mint R32 GTR (GOOD LUCK), or a bayside blue R34 GTT at the time. After driving a few Gtt's I decided it was more of a sideways step instead of a real upgrade, and after test driving an Evo the decision to change flags was made.
After shopping around for a while, doing some homework and looking at a stack of cars I found one I really liked that had just landed from Japan. It was stock except for the cat back exhaust and in great condition with about 30,000km on the clock.
The car stayed stock for ages, I was busy saving for camera gear and a house deposit. I still took it to the track occasionally and it's performance for a stocker was amazing. I loved it. The only initial mod was fitting a heavy duty clutch and upgrading the rotors to DBA4000's with some ceramic composite pads on each corner. After that I just tried to tidy up a stack of small things and get it nice and neat and clean.
After a while I got sick of the stock look, I had the house deposit done, I had enough gear to get more serious about shooting, so I recently started making a few additions to the car. (If I don't sell it, there's some engine mods on the way soon too)
Before....
After....
I changed the intercooler and more importantly upgraded all the piping.
I sourced a set of CE28N's for the car. Wrapped in Yokohama's awesome AD08 rubber. Such a rad tyre.
Also added a Carbon lip to the front, and replaced the rear bar with an Evo 9 version.
As of now...
I'm looking into a carbon blade for the wing, some more carbon interior bits and possibly another vortex generator (I lost the other one at 180km :/ )
I'm currently looking into some new suspension to help out around the track but isn't to stiff to make it a pain in the arse to use as a daily.
After suspension I plan on finishing off the pipework. Both on the induction and exhaust side and a tune. I'm not sure If I'll do much on it beyond that at this stage.
I'll use this post to dump new shots of it and be sure to keep the progress updated too, but for now.. it's scotch o'clock.
