Hey guys,
My plans are to:
- Respray the car from the factory Toledo Blue Metallic to Audi Ibis White LY9C with a deep wet gloss finish.
- Drop it on some custom painted white Giovanna wheels 22x9.5 on the front and 22x10.5 on the rear.
- Upgrade the sound system and drop in some screens, nothing over the top.
- Replace all brake pads and rotors. With the ultra low dust type, as with white wheels it's going to be a bitch to keep clean
I got inspiration for a white on white E65 from the Rick Ross - Everyday I'm Hustlin video clip LOL!
I don't want an exhaust or anything, the car is sooo smooth, quiet and refined even though a little V8 rumble would be nice...
So far it's starting to come along nicely. Rear brakes are done, the front's are still too good to replace yet so I'll wait another 10,000kms.
Pictures are from a mobile phone and pretty dodgy. Once she's done I shall get some professional shots taken of the finished product.
Car is being resprayed by a fella that has 10 years experience as a panel beater. He only does one car at a time and really takes his time to make sure the job is done to your every specification. He dissasembles the car at his house and then gets it towed to a downdraft spraybooth for the rest and then bakes it etc. All sanding done by hand, his username on here is "quint"
