2.8L Turbo Diesel

2 1/2 Inch with Dumper

4" Lift

33 / 12.5 Inch, Mickey Thompson MTZ fronts & Maxxis Bighorn Rears

Turbo Timer, Snorkel, 60 Channel GME UHF, Massive GME Ariel, Boost Gauge, Electronic Trailer Breaks, GPS, Towball, Tint, Exhaust, LED Dash Cluster Lights

Sony Headunit, Alpine Type S speakers

Estimated Power: BEEFCAKE !!

This is my GU Patrol - weekender, only taken it out a couple of times... want to take it out more often but never get time off work...

Had the windows done 5%, tinted the fake and useless taillights. and general clean up of the whole thing.

Future plans, get it dyno tuned with a piggy back ecu.. try and get some more power from it..
GU Series 2 headlights & Taillights (wire them to work in sync with the bumper lights)
New bulbar, roof racks, Lightforce spotties, three more Mickey Thompsons & PPQ prestige plates.

Its a fairly decent weekender, Im happy with it... anyone know of places to take it on the gold coast let me know....

& all negative and constructive criticism is welcome.

These patrols are awesome off road, I really wish I could be home more to use it.

yeah 2.8 was the only let down... But its 50% better on fuel being the smaller engine.

Having driven a 4.2L Im not disappointed in mine, it goes alright.

Really pacific pines..? I just moved near there.

Honestly I only tinted the fake lights because they don't work, they don't even have sockets for bulbs and they looked like burnt watermelons I couldn't handle it anymore...
    LOL

The series two GU lights I've ordered are bulb ready and crystal style with indicators & reverse lights for both sides so it will look better once I get them & wire it up.

The tinted ones are only temporary.

i live up near the skate park and the entrance to paicfic pines is near wollies, just before u get to the big roundabout for smith st you will see a drop off on the side of the road you go in there and follow it through, theres a bit of everything in there like mud holes, rutty hill climbs and a creek that you can drive in and theres some areas where u can flex right out, there is also a trail in maudsland that goes up2 tamborine.

i like this thing mate, looks good, i have a 2.8td myself, cheap engine on fuel, but it has gotten me up any hill at cruiser park, glasshouse, that i have been game enough to drive,
with the right mods they can go along way,

cheers mate yeah the 2.8 is bullet proof from what I've been told, and cost shitloads less to maintain fuel wise...
