Well thought i would do abit of an update not much has changed it just has been bad suprise after suprise with rust got this datto off ebay year or more ago and it wasnt what we thought it was they guy didnt tell us it was in a small accident on the right front of the car and that the tray lip had been cut off to be shaved i assume, so it sat around for a fair while, but started to get working on it and the progression was good, then found on here for sale a rolling shell of a datto and used what i could off it smile.gif which was brand new pannels spare fuel tank radiator support pannel, and went and got my radiator recored and thats all brand new ready to go smile.gif

And knowing all projects it takes more time then you think, and thought i would search around for more rust and low and behold the drivers floor had more rus tthen i origanally thought big enough to you could stick you feet in and flinstone it and a few rust spots in the passengers side which im thankful for haha smile.gif, but hey its a 40 year old car so should expect it, so got to work and patched it up as best as i could, and found some more rust under the rear left tail light so went to work and fixed that, but the pictures speak better then what i can say haha, if you want to know anymore im gladly to tell more. so heres alot of photos of start to where i am now..
it is also for sale so check topics, also interested in swapping for acheap daily driver

so here it is *alot of pics*

+1 for not selling it and keep building it.

i can't believe after all the effort you've put in you'd even consider selling it.

wont be turbo'd for a while as that im only on my green p's.

i love it to bits, and i dont want to see it get worse with the rust and everything because the carport and garage is full of my mums bf's bikes and cars so it just sits outside. :/. i know i will be working on it until its back on the road but to find the movitation is hard, and am sick of not having a driveable car haha.

it's been a one man project since day one, so any help would be awesome smile.gif

Well, it's going nowhere seeing as i got told not to work on it anymore from mums boyfriend because he thinks the way i have welded on the radiator support is wrong so im going backwards instead of forwards and its not helping one bit with my motivation and getting it on the road :/..
