Hi,

I am wanting to cut the roof of my Nissan 180SX and install a half roll cage in the back. What would I need to do to make this road legal (if possible).

I will have the option to have a roof or no roof by installing mounting brackets so that I may bolt the roof back on from the inside if I choose to.

Mock up of idea:

How would a half cage stop your 180 from becoming a 90?

*prob more like a 150*

Not this guy again. Sale it and find a convertible s13 silvia. I doubt anyone in Darwin will do the job as cutting the roof off a unibody structural car is a no no

But if you're serious (no doubt you are) about it ask here next time
