It's about time the police charged people when they have so much evidence. It's so frustrating when they find a @#$! load of evidence, like THE CAR but it's still not enough. It's like their scared to prosecute

think its more the courts wont prosecute...

cops can go around charging everyone on the slightest evidence...but the courts are the problem...

in other news...

a red HX mock up monaro was found completely stripped in rokeby bush, was stolen from mornington on the 22nd...not burnt...

Yeah you're right. But I don't understand why.

The first and worse case I've herd is my brothers WR400 was stolen a few years ago. They Never found the bike, but they did find ALL his gear which was also stolen in a shed about 10km away in the bush which belonged to a guy with a history of stealing. They were never charged. But being a small town word got around and he soon left for another town. He wasn't told verbally either.

Another case is my mates xR8. That was stolen in W.A by a heap of aboriginal kids. The police chased them, called the chase off because it was too dangerous then found the car smashed later that day. All the stuff they stole was in the car as well and they knew who did it but because they couldn't link them to the car they can't do anything in court.

It is a shame as it had alot of time and money put in to it:-(
It's not the police it is the courts who give em a slap on the hand n say don't do it again!!!!!

Useless court system, and they wonder why we have so many crimes in Australia.

Do as the Americans do, the right to fire on people if they trespass.

saw this today on a tilt tray, it made me sad.

people who do these things to cars need to be punished...badly.
In the olden times thieves had their hands cut off. I like it!

what really gets to me is the lawyers that act in the defense of the scum, knowing all too well that 95% of the time they are guilty...they do the research, find the loop hole, break the witness and return the guilty scum back into society to commit more crimes...
