just wondering if anyone on here has done an xr6 turbo conversion into a different make of car?

Not sure if they're on here (I think they are) but at the hi-torque dyno day there was an R33 skyline with a Barra motor in it, made like 1000hp or something ridiculous...But it can be done if that's what you were wondering.

My neighbour has one in his genuine A9X Torana... looks tuff as with the drop tank and ya hear the blow off valve... oopsie.gif

You're a liar. No one would would do something retarded like that to a genuine A9X.

Also, what proof do you have that your car runs a low 13 with an auto box and no turbo. I don't believe you there, either.

i've seen and heard of dumb things done to a9x's before but this would have to be the worst.

Witnesses? Is that enough? How about the manual EA Falcon in Victoria that has run a 12.8@109mph, don't believe that either?

and also, who would bother to do up such a car at 41 years old when you can own a turbo that does that time with a flash tuner lol

No nitrous! 4.11 Diff gears, manual, 6 Throttle Body's. All legit, was done at Heathcote on Mickey Thompson ET Streets.

DAZZLER's car is an Auto, but the EA that ran a 12.8 wasn't. Daz's BA has gone 13.2, with quite a comprehensive list of mods.

Been done over and over. 32/33s, S14, X-series, E-series, Capri, Torana (That runs 7s) etc

Theres a BA with a LS1, now thats a step in the wrong direction.

I've been wanting to do this for a while. I own a BA Xr6 and would love to see it done in an older smaller car. I had thughts as to put in a BA xr6t motor in a TE Cortina. Want to start it as a project in june/july but always wondered if they could fit a inline six in the bay.

Try 335kw, UN INTERCOOLED.

Wow, 317kw 6.2L vs 335rwkw S/C 5.0L......... (335rwkw has been recorded on multiple dyno's, Australia wide). 12's out of the box, and mid 11's for $3k. BFYB is with Ford's new V8 right now isn't it?

Erm, not quite. Stock GS falcons will put out upwards of 300RWKW stock.
