just wondering how hard is it to do? how costly was it to do?
and did you uses genuine s14 fenders and bonnet etc or did you uses fibreglass conversion guards

What if your pod filter decides to go to a bar, get drunk, start a fight and accidentally kill someone? Did you ever think of that? I bet you didn't, but Highway Patrol did

Apparently the S14 fenders are a bitch to fit to the S13 and parts are getting rare (S14A headlights especially).

Just go the S15 front end.

This looks fuckin' nice though.

Dude, it's a 20yo car. I bought a 2002 s15 for $14k.

Hmmm, that is a pretty good price.

that is the most porn sil80, so it looks like you used the widebody fibre glass conversion fenders, and guess genunine bonnet, lights, and aftermarket front bumber. how much did the conversion cost u if u dont mind me asking lol and how much trouble was the hole ordeal

I was going to do this through east coast customs but source my own headlights to lower the price but with the paint it was going to coast anout 4g to do i think? I had it all; writted down and priced but yeah was way to much for my budget so im now going with an r32 front end smile.gif Their the sexiest conversion though along with a couple others, i like your taste haha

I think it lives in Toowoomba now, pretty sure that's where the guy lives who bought it off me.

Anyway it's not that hard to do yourself. Just gotta source the s14 bonnet, s14 front bar, s13/14 conversion guards and headlights, then cut some holes for the lights to stick through the reo, and make a few brackets to hold the lights, and mod the bonnet hinges to fit.

Cameron's Bodyworks in Coopers Plains is good for all this if you cbf doing it yourself.

the nicer way to do it is to buy a whole s14 or s15 front reo section/rad support etc and stitch it onto the chassis, that way all the mounts/holes are already there and you don't have to stuff around trying to align it all up so much.

Id rather a 180 front on a series 1 s14.
But to put a 180 front on a S2 S14 should be a punishable offence, S2 S14 front is so sex.

Any S15's with s14a fronts?

nferno
Post #28

180 front also looks porn on the S15

that does look good.

The picking list for any of them IMO is:
S14a front
180sx front
s15 front
s13 sil front
s14 front

thanks for your comments guys yeh s2 is porn, and 180 on s14 isnt to bad but i hope no one would do it to a series two. to the guy who said series one looks better, i think u must be the kinda guy that didnt have friends at school and was always an outcast because series two is far better so ANGRY! its costly but if it happens ill post up some pics. oh and i really like the idea of stiching old s14 frame work in good idea
