I have a cracked dash that i want to replace and i've been thinking about putting in an s14 dash...I also need to replace my intrument cluster as my fuel gauge has stopped working properly. I was wondering that if i swap the dash to an s14 if i can use the cluster from the s14 as well...I guess i just want to know if it will fit as well in the s13 as it did when it was in the s14 and if it will work...

Has anyone done this and can they confirm if it works or not?

Thanks guys

I *think* it does fit. But, to make it look good, you have to replace it with S14 center console, door cards etc. cluster will work, as both cars are fitted with SR20's. However, the fuel gauge problem could be a faulty sender. Not the gauge.

Imo, replace it with another standard S13 dash and replace the sender first, before trying to get a new cluster.

Im 90% sure it's the cluster as the fuel light still works and so does the guage but it gets stuck at 3/4 full...why do you need the door cards?

so basically the door cards and centre console are needed to finish the look with that curve shape that the dash has... will the door cards just fit on or do they need to be modded?

try www.nissansilvia.com they will know the details but i think a s15 dash is a popular conversion but requires trimming the sides i think.
imo keep the s13 one and put a dash mat on lol i had a perfect dash and one day it just cracked even with a dash mat... i have a spare one but cant be bothered swapping because it will probably crack aswell

also with your fuel guage jsut check your float is not stuck before you waste your time.
