I've recently been looking at getting a dash cam, with the little bit of research I have done so far i've come to the conclusion that there are too many choices! So I'm just looking for suggestions to give me a better starting point as well as real reviews. I'm happy to spend a decent amount of money on it, so more (useful) features the better although I'd skip GPS unless I had the option of toggling it on and off. -------------------- |

Probably a product worth doing a bit of research on before jumping in,I don't think you have to spend a million dollars on one but there are lots of pitfalls if you go too cheap. I'll have a talk with my son (he's a member on here but doesn't visit much anymore ).The first one he bought worked well, until it became too hot sitting on the dash, the focal length would change, and the picture would become blurry. Whatever he has now,he's happy with,so I'll have a yarn and get back to you,the only other thing,if it was me,is to buy local, because,it's great to be able to grab someone by the scruff of the neck if you're not happy |
