Hi im purchsing a car in nsw but im in qld what are the steps to changing the rego to qld an attaching my personalised plates?

Obtain qld rwc.
Dereg nsw rego
Reg in qld
at time of reg, fill out attach numberplate form.
Skid to leave

pretty sure you also get a refund on some of your nsw rego if you had a heap left.
