Apparently it is Mount View Road, Mt Cotton, just at the last left hand bend before the end of the road. Have fun. Some recommend puting flour on the car to see the hand prints of the young children who were killed in a bus accident there that push the car up the hill. |

Wouldnt want to be sitting stationary at that hill too long. Stretch of road is common for time trials, And its coated in thin quarry dust atm |

You have just made a fool of yourself saying that shit, I am a mechanic and I can tell you now Australian cars are MUCH more reliable than imports (1 million km's on original engine anyone?) and actually have a lot of things going for them that jap stuff doesnt. But I am not going to argue about those things in a ghost thread, this too seems to be a popular topic so maybe you should just use the search function to find out |

Most of my mates are mechs and have worked for BMW, Merc, Holden, ford wank wank etc etc. In my family we have had many new Aussie cars and older ones etc. and they are turd. What exactly do they have going for them dinosaur technology perhaps? You have one thing right some of the motors (the ones made by other companies!!) can outlast a nuclear holocaust, its a shame that they happen to be inside a arsehole. Laters maaate |

Laters maaate OK dickhead, do I have to explain why your point is shit. you have no idea what you are on about. It is not dinosaur technology, it is called tried and proven technology, why fix whats not broke? Leave that for the europeans, but remember, for every innovation they come up with that is good, they come up with about 150 shit idea's that just make their cars unreliable and harder/more expensive to fix. BTW, the ford I6 is 100% australian designed and made and imo (in its current form) is one of the best engines in the world, Turbo versions can make 500+hp in relatively stock form, while the same motor in stock NA form can last a million km's in taxi applications, how many Japanese motors can do that? I would like to see an RB25 or 2JZ last a million k's |

"pssst its a secret bullshit" Thanks to everyone who try to help at boostcruise I would happily list the name and location of all the places I know around brisbane, but it would be a waste of my time because they have already been listed in 100 other threads. Why the fuck would I keep it a secret If you have searched the forum and genuinely cant find the location of a place, send me a PM and I will give you the details if I know them |

I would like to see an RB25 or 2JZ last a million k's Most of my argument was broad but the main points are directed towards holden, but both the cars bodies/interiors themselves are never good. Im not a fanboy, I like v8s just not aussie cars (older classics yes!)! I can see that Ford 6's are tried and tested (I had an old falcon and the motor never skipped a beat it used to tow some serious weight a lot too) and Its nice to aussies designing their own cars for a change. But comparing an LPG run motor that gets babied around the city everyday of the week to a petrol run motor thats turbocharged and has/will get raped off the limiter by everyone it is bit slack. Maybe a NA LPG 2j or rb25 would be a better comparision? we would never see the results as who cbf? |
