Anyone got a v6 3.8l in a Datsun bluebird and have it registered... is it worth the trouble ???

well I wouldnt have a clue if anyone has, should be pretty easy to work it out whether or not it can be done. In response to the second part I am guessing not, they make no power and are not very good to modify. The only thing going for it is how cheap and easy the motor and parts are.

I've seen a Nissan 6 cylinder/turbo conversion done into a '84 bluebird trx, was quite the weapon and very unexpected. wouldn't bother with a v6 though, unless you were to keep it in the family and put it in something like a Gemini.

worth the trouble? that's only something you can judge.

you can legally put in a series three but not series two last time I checked. But it has all recently changed.

Brother in law has one in nsw all registered, actually is a good conversion goes very well in my opinion, he is also looking at selling it if you are interested in having a chat give me a pm and I can pass on his details..

Yes its worth it i have a 82 hilux with ecotec in it had 180hp and it chopped heaps of cars then turbod it on 9pound went 320hp on a dinosaur wrecker motor now it chops everything so much torque and rev quick also such a small motor plenty of room for a snail dont listen to fcuktards saying they are useless they have no clue
