Hey guys this is my 1982 Ford LTD Hearse "DESTINY".

She left ford Australia in 1982 as a XD Falcon station wagon where she was taken to a coach builder in Footscray to under go her
build up as a hearse. She started off her life working in Melbourne until 2001 when she was transfered to a Tweed Heads where at
120,000 klms she under went a full restoration. In 2007 she was moved up to a Brisbane Funeral home where she remained in
service until March this year and spent the last few months sitting in the corner of there shed until I purchased her.

I have quite a few plans for her so watch this space over the coming months guys as I am sure that she will impress as time goes by.

    I use to have one of these, was dark blue with a vinyl roof, 4.1L. Was a fun car to drive around in! Had 9 people in the back of it one night. I can remember going to sunday sessions in the city, wouldn't be any car parks so just park in the loading zones outside of churches. Come back to the hearse a couple of hours later and all the cars around me had parking tickets and i didn't hahaha.

    Thanks guys, as I said I have a lot of plans for her and once I am 100% certain of the direction I want to take her things will happen very quickly
    as I am not one to mess around when it comes to building my cars. I do intend to bag her and this will be one of the first things to be done as soon
    as I have completed the interior which I have already started to buy the gear to change it all to how I want it.
    I am yet to find someone who will do the bags at a reasonible price as unfortunatly I know very little about bagged suspension so it is out of my league so
    it is one of those jobs I will have to pay someone to do for me.

    Hate to disappoint but not going huge on the sound system. Will just have 2 subs, besides we need the space for the coffin fit still.
    Originally i had palnned to use the coffin as a sub box but I want to be able to remove it easily so if we go to a show out of town we can
    sleep in the back if need be.

    Yeah that was me, was in at spotlight having a heart attack over the price my curtain material for the back is gunna cost me.
    Nah undead is 5 yrs older than Destiny and hopefully slower by the time I am finished tongue.gif

    The coffin will be in there 95% of the time but has to be removable to allow us to sleep in the back from time to time.

    has 5% tint on the back and side windows
