Engine: 3rzfe 2.7

Exhaust: Standard, thinking about getting twin tips welded on to stock exhaust to sit flush with the rollpan.

Suspension: 4inch reset springs in the rear, wound down torsions in the front, modified bump stops, with pedders shocks all round.

Wheels: Standard(black) Thinking about putting the 20's on it but waiting on funds.

Modifications: Suspension, sr5 tub(found out its 2 extra cab tubs welded together), clear indicators, shaved rollpan, spray liner, white weatherstrips, shaved and debadged cab, mirrors deleted and moved to corners, chrome front end with colour coded apron

Stereo Audio / Visual: Alpine Head unit and Type S splits, Type S 6x9's...... have installed a sub in a sketchy box behind the seats, but making one out of mdf this weekend, and mounting the amp up there somewhere too.

Estimated Power: slowwww. But its only a first car.

Hey Guys,im 16 and im still on my L's, this is my first car, just an update with a few different sets of wheels and a pic with the audio layout ive done behind the seats, the sub box is pretty rough as i just modded a crap one i found laying around. will be whipping up a nicer one shortly

anyway. Thanks Guys, hope you like it.

How i got it.

How it sits now.

17's

20's

Behind the seats.

If it's for doing "utey" things then some small wheels is all it would require. It has a lot of potential but it would all be wasted if it's going to be carrying things etc..

All i meant by utey things is carrying my moto. thats it. haha. just dont see the point of buying a ute. filling the back with compressors and tubs and welding the tailgate shut? whats the point.

That's my point, keep it tidy, practical and looking good without going all out. I like the overall look of it and respect the fact you wish to keep it functional even though i am a die hard fan of laying frame.

I am in the process of body dropping mine and installing the front tubs..

Yeah, would love to get bags. even with the height it is now it likes hitting the stops. but just alot of stuffing around just to make your car 10x more illegal haha. but i do like them

needs more rubber around the rims the rims are nice and it looks great but i think it needs more rubber not a fan of really low profile tyres

They dont look so small in person. just the pics, cant tell them from the plastic lining in my guard

love the xr6 rims shame they dont fit, ive seen falcon steelies in black on one of these and had pretty good offset and filled out the guards, looked pretty fat plus you can get 15 inch load rater light truckers for the ass

    blkluxy73
    Post #29

 mate all i can say is hope for your sake the wheels n tyres are load rated...nowadays i actually run the falcon 16 pursuits on my blk extra cab luxy,no probs with popo or dot completely legal and for me best looking steel rim available...
