Transfer Reg From Qld To Nsw? - Any one know what you have to do ??  

As for the rest - it's no different to Queensland. why should somebody who only has experience on the mechanical side be allowed to approve a structural change that they have no experience with? I'm sure you'll find there's quite a few people who are Approved to do most, if not all modifications because of their background.

They are all Automotive Engineers, and the fact is they all specialise in one field, thats not to say they dont know the other fields well, in fact up until a couple of years ago they could sign off on any mod they had checked.

what im saying is the RTA sucks and that getting a blue slip for a modified car is harder than squeezing blood from a stone.

THIRD TIME Thread is revived fromt he dead... Got a lot of good information, but just need some more clarification.

Im looking at changing over a NSW rego to QLD rego. Driving it up from Sydney/Newcastle to the Gold Coast and changing all over, hopefully next weekend...

Can any1 help me by letting me know...
Do you get refunded the remaining NSW rego?
For a N/A car would you still need to get mod plate OR just a RWC from anywhere ?
And then i whats the deal with doing the QLD Transport Registration (get the papers and fill out etc...) ?

Any help would rule,shot.

You can get remaining rego refunded.

Mod plates have nothing to do with being N/A or forced - If it has a NSW mod plate, it will need to be redone in QLD. Most places can then issue a RWC (check the Yellow Pages).
