Car: '05 BAII XR6T
Motor: Standard motor apart from valve springs smile.gif
Trans: T56, 6 speed manual
Clutch: Malwood automotive Opt3+ (by Ace clutches) same as the F6 Typhoon that ran the Bathurst 24hr at one stage. Exedy HDCB couldnt handle the punishment haha.
Turbo: Stock
Boost: 14PSI
Valve springs: CrowCams
Induction: Rapid Systems 4inch CAI Hi-flow K&N pod filter
Cooler:Rapid V3.0
Fueling: Factory pump to front mount 3ltr surge tank with Bosch 044 pump and Deka 60lb injectors
Exhaust: Full Stainless XForce System, 4" dump, 3.5" Cat, Quad 2.5" rear.
Power: 342rwkw 850nm from 2800rpm
Tuner: JSM Darwin. Looking at a retune soon, utilizing my SCT X3 from Pitlane Performance in Melb
Rims: Konig Kontakt (Black Center with Polished Lip) 18"x8.5"fr and 18"x9.5" rear
Other mods: 3x Autometer Guages mounted on dash, also a boost guage mounted near shifter.

Haven't ran it down the quarter yet, but should run high 11s but it is manual so not quite as quick as the Zf autos haul...Definently more fun but.

Haha, there's some smart cookies in here...

My old ute was a BA MK2. Shit bottom end. Valve springs, rapid V3, 4" exhaust out the side through the side skirt, usual fuel mods, NPC single plate button clutch. 490rwhp on 16psi on a dyno dynamics. 494rwhp on 16psi on a mainline dyno.

Good fun, too slow though.

not liking the power on mine anymore.... too slow...

As for owner of thisso well use to be did you build and put a motor in it cos I was told it has a stock fg motor in it and making 600hp on e85??

RIPGTR
Post #38

yep u got me its a completely stock standard motor "facepalm". just because u were told something doesnt mean it was true, how about u take my word for it and stop trying to stir.

to define it -
its an atomic engine with standard FG rods in it at the moment running an M800 computer. New fat rods should be going in soon, then it should be a reliable 850hp. saying that tho anything about 600hp on the street in this ute is pointless coz it cant get the power down, which is y i run street slicks on the back now.

comon ppl keep this topic alive! lol

Hey fellas

i noticed your thread, i used to work at ford when i was a youngster detailing, around the time of the first and second gen xr6t ba II or whatevers its been a while?,

anyways a few of the mechanics had xr6t and they all put the f6 program in using the factory laptop thingo (alot bigger and high tech than a laptop)

and with no more than that little change they could all keep up with the boss in his f6 biggrin.gif
although they did say its not good for the engine over the long run

anyone else done this heard about it?

might be common ford knowledge i dont know?

cheers

Gotta admit maddicks wana go is a well built car, starting to think u got a better gearbox combo than I did lol. Urs would hook up better than mine too being a sedan. Still good fun tho lol

Got x force 4"dump into xforce system , fuel pump , valve springs , stage 3 inter cooler process west plenum and 14psi boost .. Not bad I think for the amount of money... Got potential for big hp with bigger turbo and internals n shit

and i bet it still loosen's the intake and exhaust manifolds lol

Such a pain in the ass. I always got the guys @ work to do two extra things at every service. Check ALL manifold/turbo bolts and replace the inline turbo oil filter.

RIPGTR
Post #55

na mate not yet just had too much other shit to do with rebuild this ski boat and all, should whip out the go pros and take some footage lol

JmeCamo - id go BF and spend a little money getting the car the way you want it looking rather than buying an FG. unless u like the FG the way it is off the shelf from ford.

ps dont go with the ba engine they are weaker than the other 2

you can get a fpv tornado for about the same price as a fg ute i would probably get a tornado over a fg ute but i would probably get a fg over a bf xr6 turbo
and i would avoid a ba unless your going to go crazy with mods such as atomic motor and a built gearbox.
