It's actually a S3 grille tongue.gif
Has thicker vertical slats and slightly larger gaps than the stock A3 grille. Now I've just got to mod my Quattro badge to fit in the space where the S3 badge was.

It's only a subtle difference, but I agree, the "S" series grill does look better in my opinion.

OT so far today nothing, haven't even stepped outside of my front door yet lol. Love holidays.

Just bought Panhard rod bushes for my adjustable panhard rod for my new suspension. Diff gasket for when I change diff oil whilst doing the suspension. Possibly do the radius rod bushes too while I am at it.

Will do Squirt. IT's currently on the back of Dad's ute under a tarp cause it's raining. Have to get out and take some photos of her soon anyways. She's pretty bare atm, an empty shell basically.

Yeah that's cool.

It'll have to look worse before it starts to look good though. Are you doing a bare metal respray and full resto? Also. Spec on the motor? Is it just stock with the few things you said already or?

BAM!

Not sure on if going full bare metal or not yet. Will have to see how it goes. I'd like to but the cost may be prohibitive. Just have to see how it goes. It can just sit in primer for a few months for all I care, I just want the beast on the road! And I can drive it in primer tongue.gif

Spec, just stock standard engine, I believe .010" overbore. Will have a closer inspection when I take the heads off to have them prepped for straight gas. While that's off I'll throw in a new bump stick and get them to redo the valve springs etc etc while they are at it.

Not sure which box to run behind it though. T350/400 would be the ideal choice because straight bolt up or whether to find a powerglide to put behind her.

Be-Hating
Post #3274

Yeah that's true. And fairo. If you do let it sit in primer though just don't let it sit in rain and other shit weather cause it'll eventually come up in the paint when sprayed.

Engine sounds alright then. And if it were me i'd be going a turbo box over a glide. A lot stronger. Are you going to put a decent cam/ exhaust system in it?

BAM!

Of course Squirt! Lol. Just trying to work out the best cam package etc, because I wouldn't mind later throwing a supercharger on her eventually. In fact there's a 4/71 on gumtree atm in WA for 500

Be-Hating
Post #3276

Winning. But really, If you plan on supercharging it fcuk the gas off. That's a waste of time.

Unless you are just speaking 'Merica and actually mean Petrol not LPG.

BAM!

Haha, Squirt, LPG is a very underrated fuel. Has a fair bit of performance potential. You can run higher compression on boost and naturally runs cooler than petrol as the gas turning from liquid to gas has a cooling effect like that of water/meth injection. Plus will be daily runner.

but having a easy flash point makes it hell dangerous and requires a strict maintance check if ur using it for performance side of things

BAM!

It certainly will be maintained correctly. I've seen one go boom before, but it still is worth the risk imo

+1 on that.

Will probably be about the size of the one we own. I'm 205cm and he can comfortably reach my shoulders.

Yeah I think she will be pretty big for a Female shepherd. But thats a good change from my last shepherd that was quite small.
