hey guys, throught id posted my new project up. its a 2010 holden colorado 3.0l diesel 4jj1txc common rail 2wd single cab tray back ute. its not your typical project i know, i know. but ive come across a guy in thailand who can build quite the powerful diesel ute. he hold the 4 cylinder diesel record for highest output and knows his stuff. so far my mods are minimal,( thanks to the g/f and house payments). ive added a autometer utltralight digital boost gauge, and a monsterV3 piggyback ecu from the guy in thailand.also added a 4mm shim to the pressure relief vlave on the common rail.. this is to change the pressure signal to run different fuel pressures. expected power output has gone from 120kw (engine) to 180-190kw(engine). i have planned out alot of future mods with him, hoping to see 500hp at the treads.... the last pic is what a customer in thailand has bulit so far.. it make 450hp and 800nm+ nm atw

photos are off my g/f photo so yes they are shit!

cheers.

dont worry i thought the same thing at first.
well its cheap to build, reliable power, run 45+ psi throught the stock block, and if set up right run low 11s all day long.... plus close to 1000nm of torque at the wheels is handy for power skids

You serious? This isnt even yours... why waste your time in making a thread? Seems pointless and stupid.. maybe you're into stuff like that though, lol :headwall:

Itl be good to actually see yours when done. This tread is alittle pointless but good luck with it and post yours up when done.

I agree, will be wicked to see when finished.. Just not now, I could go to a build site down the road and see three of them.. Keep a thread going with build, will be good to keep an eye on your progress. Nice work for doing something that isnt the norm.. *cough* Skyline *cough*..
