Straight from the factory - to change the spark plugs in our family car Toyota Aurion, you have to remove all the plastic engine covers, and then pull off the intake manifold. To do a simple, basic maintenence job such as changing a set of spark plugs. Retarded Japanese engineering. Well, you are the one who bought the FWD V6. I have the same problem but at least my engine covers are made of metal, you know, like what engines are made of. |

After hearing this I think it is retarded engineering worldwide! I reckon it has to do with everything being designed by computers these days - not like the good old days where cars were designed by blokes with common sense who sat there and thought about how routine maintenence was going to be performed. Computer and computer boffin just design modern cars, and let the technicians figure out how to service it all later...... Just another reason why old school > modern cars. |

If car manufacturers/dealers make most of their money from servicing, why would they make it easy to service they car yourself? That's the whole point, people just think its too hard and take it to the dealer to get done. |

What about the 86/brz oil filter location , it's inverted at the top of the bay and near the front of the engine bay so when you unscrew it oil goes all over your engine. Gg Subaru. Easy to get to but very messy when servicing , I guess you could have a plastic bag around it to minimize the mess. |

and on the vz commodore, to replace the tensioner pulley you need to remove the power steering pump to get to one of the bolts |

Seen this 250 a bit through moorooka Done up as a B&S ute, only with 6x very expensive $400+ea antennas, usual full stone flaps with running lights etc This a what country folk refer to as BnS or feral style ute, very popular with the yougins in the BnS and rodeo scene. Link. They probably think your sh!t box skylines and Silvia's with damaged panels and fart sounding exhausts are equally just as gay. |

Speaking of B&S shitboxes i saw this disgusting turdburger today parked at Midland Gate (where else?) What you can't see because of the photo quality, is the hideous "paintjob" on the tailgate actually covers the entire car. It looked like a funking Wahu ball that got coloured by a retarded kid. What you CAN see though, is the following: - Big ole 5 poster bullbar complete with superfluous aerials - funk off sized spotlights that are probably halogen and throw out funk all light (on the roof :boworfl: ) - Gay rollbar - Crap rims - "Tits are for kids, get your BOX out" and "I have bi polar brakes....you must be feeling lucky" stickers among others and the piece de' resistance.... Not just one, but 2 sets of mudflaps...the pride and joy being the oversize (and completely unnecessary) RM Williams pieces. This is probably one of the more conservative feral style utes lol! The 'paint job' is food dye, which is a BnS tradition and have been for as long as they have been around. While there is no way in hell i would ever do that to my ute, this style is 'BnS' and i love it! There are also quite a few very tastefully done utes but the feral utes are the stars of the party at BnS and ute musters like deniliquin because these guys arent to scared to give it curry in a circle work comp. But each to their own, this is a 'style' just not to everyones taste. |

I hate the B'n'S utes that you see now that are lowered until the bullbar digs into the road, with 20in chromies etc... |
