White on white gives a more sporty look I reckon. Heres a pic of mine.

I've seen a white R36 sedan with white rims, and I almost jizzed. The rims don't necessarily have to be sporty, I just can't see glossy white being non-bogan.

I had white on white on my 33, the colors looked well but the rims i had looked shithouse. Now i have black rims and it has completely changed the look.

If your painting them yourself you can always paint them again if you don't like it

Hi I'm new to boostcruising and I bought an R32 that already had white on white. At first I was a bit iffy about how it looked, but then it grew on me and now I love it.

Good thing about white cars is any colour wheels will look decent (as long as wheels are decent...), I like white skylines with white rims as ^^ Strudel has mentioned.

But I can imagine the cleaning required, I haven't cleaned my matte black wheels for over a year and they are still like new; but when your driving past no one will see small amounts of brake dust regardless..?

plain and simple
modifying your car is to ultimately end up with something that when you look at it you jizz in your pants
it's just unfortunate some people have some very disturbing turn ons

lol yeah, i clean mine every afternoon, brake dust kills them.

Dont get me wrong, they look awesome when i just clean them and shine the tyres......but be prepared to spend alot of time keeping them nice and clean

Yeah I got white rims (on a black car) and they are a bitch to keep clean but they look sweet so it's worth it. It's up to you if you wanna go white on white. I think it looks awesome (when you pick the right wheels) but it's up to you. If you wanna do it, go for it. And good luck.

I'm not really sure how it would go on my car. Goes well with racing cars

I think white on white is yuck. Bronze on white goes alright. Black on white is hot. black chrome is good. Chrome on white=fail.

Hey dude totally drove next to you at brownsplains outside grand plaza i actually commented to my gf on your car. Actually i reckon if your car is white you need to break up the colour so black with polished lip and heaps of dish would be your best choice. Or you could go chrome and look like so many other vy commodores and easier to keep them lookin great. Or checkout some new ve rims they look good too

I see a lot of people commenting on black rims but I once read somewhere that black looks tough and good (I do agree) when the car's not moving but anyone thought of comparing when the car is moving? The white definately looks better imho.
