Saying that you shouldn't worry if you're not the one doing skids is plain retarded, it attracts police, which in turn brings the defect station.

My concern would be more the attention from said Police, or the owner pulling the pin leaving you with nowwhere but just another placed fucked over by useless pricks.

even if a car is near on mint condition cops can still come up with some stupid reason to defect you. this is the reason that i dont like the idea of STL at harry's which ends up attracting cops.

i dont mind skids at all and have on a fair few occasions have skidded it aswell but there is a time and place. im sure most at harry's know the other spots that are commonly used to skid. why not go there and do it instead....

The cops that are patrolling Harrys are only doing it to catch the wankers trying to show off when leaving, most arnt even coming inside the car park they are just out the front so they are not looking at defecting anyone.

One thing that i agree is that its very dangerous with people standing on the footpath - especially last night. It'd be much safer if everyone stepped back a few metres or went across the road

Half of the guys on the sidewalk are telling the drivers to skid it as they leave. A bit of action never hurt anyone. It's good seeing so many people out of a night. Really nice cars out and a lot of good company. Just wish the place was bigger and the police would just leave it alone. I have a nice car but it's also defected. Everything is according to the police.
Anyways good night last night. Can't wait for Munchies tonight. Hopefully see some of you out there

I was there for both acco's The t bucket hit well known members off this site, The vette happend the day before my bday, was scary seeing the headlights go up peoples faces then the car land where they were sitting :S

I'd have to disagree with you there. If people have some common sense they will not sit right on the footpath. It'd make sense to stay behind the poles and/or sit up in the carpark across the road. Obviously you'd be safer to sit closer to where the coppers sit (when leaving harrys - on the left side, across the road) . If you sit there you wont get hit. No shit - dont sit in the exact path where a car is gunna spin out.

Last thursday i tried leaving the diner during the busiest time and i couldn't see a fucking thing. Seriously nothing. I creeped out and still couldnt see up the road. I had to look at the road in front of me to see if there were any headlights and pray to god that no-one was coming. I sat there for 20 seconds and luckily no cars were coming down the road when i left. This is a much more likely scenario for an accident. People blocking the entrance of harry's is so much more fkn dangerous when you cant see 5 metres up the road. Use some common sense and step the fk back

i've been going pretty much weekly for a while now, never seen the cops get out the book. the usualy highway patrol comes and walks around having a talk, but never actually seen or heard of any defects, only fines are the ones from leaving harrys

If they aren't yet, then that is very nice of them, but if they start handing them out it will be because of the dickheads that go there and act like wankers. Obviously up until now they are only targeting people who obviously do the wrong thing.
