Pic is great but i'm gonna have to put it out there. For me personally, the car not so.
I know i know, i'm gonna get blasted for this with people telling me that car modifying is a personal thing and that if the owner is happy and satisfied then, that is the most important. Blah Blah.........

The body kit, rims and ride height are an epic fail. There is nothing wrong with the car itself (All my family, including myself have always owned VAG product, so i am a fan of anything VAG) but the mods could have been far better planned out.
This car really does not represent EURO styling at all. I suggest you check out some German VW tuning websites/magazines on how its done.
However, if you're happy with it all then congrats to you. You've achieved you goal and i'm happy for that, but most of the VAG community would without a doubt back my comments up.

Hope you don't take my comments the wrong way, but you probably will.

y go the way of every other person im sick of seeing the same thing i went different and a fair few people on VWWatercooled have even said the kit has been pulled off nicely so i think you just fail they would back you up.

as for ride height its still at std height and it will be lowered in the months to come so before saying fail find out the facts ok

now wheels is it just me or does nearly every VW have BBS i think they have been overused on golfs as far as i see.

Allot of people like the look of my car as its different and have actually said they would love to keep seeing updates on it

I mod my own way to my own style not to wat pleases others

HATE TAX, his number plate? Are they perspex? Can anyone do this?

any prestige plate combination can be made into the perspex option (which looks more pleasing than other option IMO)

To OP - Excellent PIX!!!!! thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif

Look, it's all good man. I've no doubt you're happy with it. And i had a feeling about that in my first post.
BBS' overdone--YES you're right. But not in Australia. There are very few with BBS wheels in OZ (i'm yet to see one with my own eyes) so for this scene it would really work as not many people are aware of the true "euro" look. Not sure if you want to represent the euro style at all (probably not) seeing what you've done so far. It's a far cry from it, but i will give you this; At least you're giving it a go, and actually doing things, which is something the rest of the OZ-DUB community does not really know much about, plus "EURO" tuning, i'm sure you already know, is crazy expensive.
Euro Style tuning in OZ cannot even be compared to the US, Germany, UK..... so i really wouldn't look for any advice from Australian VW forums.
I commend you for giving it a go at least, however not my style at all. Good luck with it though.

so beeza, post some pics of your car and see what people say about yours...
and you said it yourself ... its crazy expensive and cant be compared to what they do in europe... so why are you?

and 83SUS... nice to see another non-stock golf around thumbsup.gif

Thanks for the comments guys.

James has a special menu set up for the New Years Eve cruise to Harry's... and I should be there early with the camera.
I'll hit up a few other blokes with cameras too and see who else wants to come down.
Looks like it's going to be a good turnout.
