Never understood why "import" means "Jap" anyway. Isn't everything that isn't Ford or Holden import?

Import doesnt mean jap. JDM is jap. Import means you actually IMPORT the car instead of being Australian delivered. You can have a Mustang and that can be classify as an import but most people will call them muscle. But yea, most people just associate jap cars as being import and probably cause most imports are jap.

Not too bad but not really a lot of imports though. Maybe the evo/supra/skyline club can make an appearance on a common night. That'll be great. Chicken Parm was good as usual.

nah cant say i saw the drift car come in being towed on the big trailer behind that red commodore, and then start up and get rev'd,

ill have to keep an eye out for it next time mamoru.gif

Seriously though, the 32 makes quite an interesting sound when it goes balls out, Thursday was the first time I got to hear it. Higher pitched than I'd expected.

yeah it is a high raspy sound, i'll get an exhaust put on soon. it deepens it a bit and makes it sound a whole lot better. even though the stock one sounds awesome anyway.

LOVED that supercharger whine, sounded like a jet! thumbsup.gif

Personally I'd stick with that one unless you'll get a good deal more power out of it. I think a high, raspy sound is more attractive than a deep farty one-you don't hear many genuine "performance" cars that sound like a Milo tin Silvia!
As for my whine-I like it too, but SC whine tends to divide people. Hell, when the Bathurst HSV was reviewed in Top Gear magazine, the reviewer said he wouldn't buy one due to the "annoying" whine.
I think few things sound better!
