Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday. It was bloody hot but great weather for a drive. Only hitches were keeping everyone together in a group from the city to Woodford due to the traffic, and the guys in the MY08 STi that got done for crossing the double lines.

Had an impromptu route change and had lunch at the pub at Maleny instead of at Montville as it gets very busy with tourists in Montville on a Sunday and there wouldn't have been parking for everyone.

We went from about 20 cars at Newmarket down to around 8 cars at Maleny, by the time we hit the highway and headed home it was just craig's car, Ash's car and mine.

It was good to meet some new people and put faces to names, hopefully we can have another one soon. I'll try to do a better job of organising too, can only get better than my first attempt!

Great turn out and some good people wo hang out with. Lunch was awsom at the pub. Was just what the doctor ordered.

I think I'll organise something for the New Year on a weekend in January and maybe have the meet further out of town so it's easier to stay together at the start of the day. It was waaay too hot, I reckon an informal beach cruise would be the go next time and with lots of people you'd always have someone to watch your keys while you're in the surf.

Maybe a Nimbin/Byron cruise one weekend in January? Plenty of great roads on the way down, lots of places to eat and sitting in the shade on the grass bank in front of the beach there is an awesome way to chill out after the drive down.

Nothing fancy mate, just moving from stock 16" MY99 rims to stock 17" MY04 rims. They don't look too bad on Classics and I can move up from a 205 to a wider 215.

I love the wheels on Ash's car, the violet-ish tint to the paint, wheels and altezzas make it a nice looking package. And it's got whine!

Yeh the later wheels look awsum on the classic's... i didn't go that option purely for the fact that its still something people do. My wheels (on my car) are rarely seen.

I saw a white Ford panel van (XF vintage) going over the story bridge this morning with an STi style wing sitting on top of the van at the back. Funniest thing I've seen this month! Would make it fun going into undercover car parks. I'll post up a pic once I get it off my phone and upload it to photobucket.

Yeah, that'd be good. I saw a few cameras out when we were at Newmarket and Craig's son was taking a few rolling shots at Maroochy. Glad he was on the opposite side to my 'blemish'!
