TUF514, is a toploader usually very notchy and clunky and hard to get into gear ??
Also, i don't have to tune mine every week. <3 edelbrock, haven't even 'tuned' it haha


They arent the nicest box to use thats for sure.

Notchy i would say yes, if i understand what you mean. Shouldnt clunk. You have to push the shifter through the gears fairly well though. It wont go on its own.

They are old you know?

Lol yeah, i drive a 40yr old auto. Know how the age thing works.

Just wasn't sure with the ford stuff etc.



Was just really hard to get into gear but the clutch felt good aparently.. (back me up ash, you were driving haha)

Haha yeah clutch was fine Jeri, a totally different car to the 180sx (which has been sold locally sad.gif ) Gear box needed work, interior, paint, just everything in general.

Also been looking at some wb utes. One was full of rust. Few things he didn't mention in the ad like a cracked dash and rips in the seat. Pretty disappointed (i can't spell).

There's a nice VH commy on ebay, bit of wortk done to the 308. I dunno exactly what im after just yet. TUF514, wouldn't want to spend too much over $15,000.


Also..... Looking out for a nice S14a. And Sinna, not a fan of red... lol.

i was thinking putting soarer v8 in mine and do it up NA? maybe u could go NA RB26 in s14?

I would expect to get an above average tonner for 15k!!!

There are plenty of falcon sedans xa-xc in that price range, but IMO they are pretty boring to look at.

Plenty of rice mobiles for that price though.

Sounds good. We would need to get people locked in though. Im not sure how, but would need definite numbers so we have something to work with.

k got 2 ideas they have worked well in the past

where we head to rocky from kmart carpark then meet up somewhere in rocky then go for run up mt archer (ive never been) then on to yeppoon and have maybe a bbq or dinner at the surf club?

option 2 rocky guys head down to gladdy we meet up again at kmart carpark then head out for a lap through the marina and either eat takeaway there or head out to awoonga and have a BBQ and then down to the tannum sands esplanade for maybe kick footy or cricket or just chill out and some drinks? or a swim
