I had a shit of a night, couldnt get the launch right and the one time it hooked up broke the passenger side cv. Did manage to run 112mph though, shuld et some alright numbers once it hooks up.

thanks gav, still a few little things i need to do to the gtr but i'll get there. want to see 11's. your xr6 cuts some sick burnouts! cant wait to see you get a good run down the strip. 60ft was 1.84

Yeah was good to get some good runs in. Hoping to get closer to the mid 12's next time but I may just wait it out and get it re-tuned for some more boost. You'll definitely hit 11's with some good launches although 1.8 isn't bad at all. Maybe some semi slicks would be best...

GTR's got the advantage there with 4WD.. 112mph is definitely good enough for a mid to high 12... I was running around 110mph...

Traction isnt the issue its keeping the CV's in one-piece thats the trouble. Hopefully got a C4 auto lined up for the big girl soon, should handle 700nm a bit better then.

Yeah it's manual, thats the only reason its goin, may have found a buyer for the g/box / clutch so a C4 auto might be on the cards yet.

I'd say i'll still take the gtr to next test and tune if I can get to it as i'm not sure when i'll have the 33 tuned and ready to go but i'll let ya know. yeah i was quite surprised i managed to catch you on that run, will have to check out the vid from grant. my mate got some footage as well which turned out pretty good.

and unlucky for the XR6t mate, warming up the MT's (i think) for that long was gonna mean you would have plenty of grip lol! And you sure did before the CV let go

Hey Grant were you talking about the corona? I wouldn't mind changing it to a t04z or even gt35 but that'll have to wait. I'm keen to get the injectors done and re-tune and see how the fuel pump holds up. Do you know if I'd have to get it retuned after adding an external 044 or would it be right if it gets tuned with new injectors and then add the pump?

better doin it all in one cause u will have to tune it for pressure and once u add the pump the pressure will go up buts thats wat i would do anyway after u take me for a spin lol

tyler ended up driving mine to a 14.0. but thats with a cracker launch, so i doubt its gonna do too much better. possibly a 13.9 at best

hey nick, would be good to see ya at the next one, the 180 should do 13's. Its not as if its stock by any means and it was doing 14's when i had it. you will be making heaps more power than when i had it. good luck tho.

i know this is a different track and car and all, but in my 33 gts-t i pulled a 13.93 @100.02MPH at willowbank,
its running 3" turbo back exhuast pod filter 7psi and a HD 5 puck ceramic clutch. i was pretty happy with that for my first time out. so im sure your car can get into the 13's. my 60 ft times were up around the 2.1 aswell so not too good.

i need to launch it to the same speed but i think with a tyler burnout and 5psi i wouldnt be too far behind.

we are all running the around the same MPH at the end, indicating after the launch we all change gears and drive it pretty evenly.

if a pretty stocko 34 can do 14.0, im sure the 180 will smash that with the hints people are giving about its mods

Its a '94 model blacktop sr 20. Its had a full rebuild, upgraded turbo - just a small gt28 ball bearing turbo, a heap of other little things, not major but should give it better than normal oompff. Ill get the proper specs up one day.

well sounds like if u drive it hard and properly off the line, and get your 60ft times right, then u will run a decent time for your mods in the 180.
