here's something for Doc. QUOTE NEW 6-Speed Subaru WORLD RECORD - 8.4 @ 168mph! 1320video Published on Dec 4, 2015 What an accomplishment for this amazing home-built Subaru from Puerto Rico! This car is a true street car, estimated at 900hp and it uses the factory 6-speed! We’ve seen how tricky these Subaru’s can be when it comes to launching at this horsepower level, so a drive-mod certainly contributes to the success of this car. We expect to see several Subaru’s chasing this record next season, so stay tuned Subaru Lovers, it’s not over yet! |

what happened? i heard through the grapevine that there was an event on this afternoon at the Beenleigh showgrounds I stopped years ago. Any particular reason? I have not been in a while and thought since its the end of the year, I might go. Bad idea Should have gone to the beach instead. 1. The venue is horrible. It's a dust pit, only one entry in and out, its not even paved. 2. Poor organisational skills by the DS team. There could have been someone watching if the main field was full and let someone from the team stop people from going in. As a result of this lack of organisation, I was stuck on the main field trying to get out for 30 minutes. Since the exit there is only room for one car to pass, it was havoc. 3. Unnecessary revving and skids to leave. |

http://www.msn.com/en-au/sport/motorsport/...deal/ar-AAg0Gq7 QUOTE Red Bull confirm TAG Heuer engine deal "
Following their Twitter hint, Red Bull have confirmed they will race a rebranded Renault engine in 2016 bearing the TAG Heuer name. Although months back Red Bull have wanted to end their association with Renault, a lack of willing engine suppliers means they will remain with the French manufacturer in 2016. The engines, though, will be rebranded. Red Bull have confirmed the power units will carry the name of motorsport's most iconic timing brand TAG Heuer while the team's car has been christened the Red Bull Racing-TAG Heuer RB12. Red Bull team boss Christian Horner said: "TAG Heuer and Red Bull are two transcendent brands which have both a passion for racing and a drive to do things differently, and this unique collaboration is further evidence of that. "TAG Heuer has been an icon in the world of Formula One for many years and we're delighted that they've chosen to continue their association with the sport by teaming up with us. Our shared values of innovation and a desire to stand out from the crowd make this one of the most exciting partnerships in F1. "We are also pleased to see Renault confirm its long-term commitment to F1 and would like to thank them for their contribution to the team since 2007. Their technical partnership with Ilmor gives us confidence, and we look forward to the 2016 season." TAG Heuer will also become the official timekeeper, official watch partner and team performance partner of the Red Bull Racing team from 2016 in a multi-year partnership. Jean-Claude Biver, the CEO of TAG Heuer, added: "Formula One is deeply-rooted in TAG Heuer's DNA, and Red Bull Racing is a young, dynamic and driven team, which perfectly fits with our marketing strategy. It will give TAG Heuer great visibility and allow us to make our partnership exciting, different and innovative. "Our motto #DontCrackUnderPressure will be the guiding principle behind all our actions with the support of the Red Bull Racing team and its highly contagious enthusiasm." |

QUOTE Oh Clarkson, How We’ve Missed You Now there is a sight for sore eyes. Jeremy Clarkson is back in front of the camera, and even if he is only hawking Amazon’s new Air Delivery service, we are so glad to see him. This means that soon enough we are going to have to pony up for Amazon Prime’s streaming service, because we can’t not watch the new not Top Gear show with Clarkson, May, and dear old Hammond. Amazon seems like they might have a winner on their hands, the concept is interesting, but surely will evolve as drone technology advances. We will stay tuned to make sure that this is more than just an advertising gimmick for Clarkson and Amazon. |

QUOTE A Female Fan Got Kicked Out of a WALKING DEAD Convention For Biting Norman Reedus
It wasn't long ago that a man killed his friend while they were binge-watching The Walking Dead because he thought the friend was turning into a zombie, and now the AMC series has inspired yet another bizarre incident. At the Walker Stalker Con in New Jersey, a female fan reportedly bit star Norman Reedus, who plays fan favorite Daryl Dixon in the show, while she was posing for a photo with him and fellow TWD actor Michael Rooker. After telling Reedus she likes to pretend she's married to him, she allegedly bit him and Rooker shouted "What the f*ck was that?" Security kicked her out of the convention and banned her from all future Walker Stalker Con events. The woman's Instagram account is private, but someone took a screencap of a post in which she admits to biting him and tries to apologize: Sorry lady — Reedus is known to be very cool with fans, but somehow I don't think he's OK with being bitten while posing for a photo. I wonder if this will have any impact on how The Walking Dead stars interact with fans from now on. There's always one bad apple who ruins things for everyone else. |

interesting...... QUOTE It’s About Time Someone Improved On The Combustion Engine So many inventions of the last century have been taken and improved to the devices that we use today. Phones, for instance, have come a long way from Alexander Bell’s design to the cell phone that you are reading this on now. While it is true that there have been many improvements in the design of the internal combustion engine, there have been very few fundamental improvements that have been made. This Duke engine would certainly fall into that category, as long as it is easy to make, service, and provides similar power results as more conventional engines. The concept makes a lot of sense, but as you all know, whether it makes it to mainstream or not depends on the almighty dollar! http://vid.carbuzz.com/its-about-time-some...e/?utm_source=3 |

Question Alph: why on Earth do you still pirate, when content is so easily available legally now? Genuinely curious. convenience for the most part, of being able to watch what i want when i want. show availability / air dates and not needing to wait. lack of commercials i'm paying for internet for what exactly? sure the internet can be useful, but i'm paying $80 a month. you could argue that if i weren't paying for unlimited internet i could downgrade plans and acquire shows legally through subscription services and still be paying the same amount overall and you'd be right, but then you'd need to invest in alternative methods of recording a show for watching at a later time and frankly i cbf'd / i'm busy multi-tasking doing various things as it is. work / training twice a day / diverse hobbies / gaming / woodworking etc. |
