Corty, I ran 11.2 @ 128mph last time I went to strip with that Tune.

Would 800+cc injectors and 24psi get me close to 500RWHP?

120mph with 449rwhp but most runs 119? sleepycressida- i made 493 misfiring with still plenty of fuel to go (870cc) but also depends if your going to run pump98 or say e85 will depend on the size injectors you need to reach 500. ive now gone to 1200cc to run e85 and sleepercorty has 1600cc with with current tune on pump e85.

Need a diet Pig tongue.gif

Ahkkay, Cause more Cressida is a daily, just would love to break 500RWHP. So it would need to be constantly on Pump.
Roughly how much are 870cc injectors atm?

pig060
Post #1859

yeah mine is pretty heavy. i havent taken one thing out from standed so she needs a diet lol. depending on brand and were you buy them but on average budget 100 each?

when i did my last 98 pump tune and it started miss firing due to ignitior/ coils we backed it off to 17psi and made 449 with 35r and 870cc (far from max on the duty cycle). it still had plenty in it so you should be up there baz maybe abit less with the auto? only a matter of time before you work it out. then it will be your coils like mine did lol.

Well I managed to speak to Derek today. Nice bloke.
I will be looking at taking the cress around to him maybe this week or sometime soon, for him to check out the setup, confirmed with running the gate off the housing, that running gates off the manifold
can affect consistent airflow throughout the manifold and takes longer to tune. All of which makes sense.

So hopefully early next year I'll have the cress making similar power, whether I have to run ridiculous boost to get there I am going to do it. hahaha

Anyone have some bigger injectors for vvti for sale? I'm running 303rwhp on 8psi and the injectors aren't far off their limit. I want to run gate pressure cause it's easy but that is 14psi. Not sure if they will like it too much...

hey mate i got 880cc for sale or 650cc injectors both for sale msg me if you want prices

Cool, hey im still in the build with my 1j mx83, I've got the jzx81 engine brackets but what rubber mounts do I use? 7m ones?????

Would anyone know as an example: If I had a single entry cast iron manifold similar to the below http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GSP-93-98-SUPRA...#ht_2199wt_1398

And I had put on a split pulse garrett t04z onto it. could this possibly rob me of power that I may expect out of a decent equal length stainless tubular manifold with split pulse?

they are obviously not a very good flowing manifold if they only make them to suit 35/38mm wastegate. the better the manifold the bigger wastegate you need to control boost, kyle recommends at least 50mm wastegates with any of his 6 cylinder manifolds to get proper boost control especially if you want a low boost setting. otherwise you get to much boost creep

hahaha fark yeah! yes please. bloody awesome.

Well I have my 100mm thick cooler on, and will be seeing Derek tomorrow to organise manifold and whatever else that may need attending.

After that it will be back to the boys at EFI and get this boost cranking. If I can get anywhere near that sort of reaction when putting my foot down, I would be one happy camper.

I can't decide weather I want to build mine more toward a setup like yours or somthing more responsive with a gt3540 or something like that
also what are you using to control your auto?

pig060
Post #1890

he has his own shift box controler (if thats what you want to call it lol) look on toymods for his thread on it. and a 35r is simlar setup too his anyway but for a more responsive setup a 30 would be better.
