Thanks everyone.

Harry they are all raw never shot in anything else and yes it is a bit Ronza what can i say i dig his style.

Sonia it was taken inside City Hall a worker there let me in thinking i was a tourist which was good because it was closed so no people.

Ok, just looked through page six and I am quite impressed with the majority of your shots. I like all your skater ones, and I am sure they will get much better with practice, I can't help but think they would be even better if you got in a little closer on the action to really show facial expression etc, if you are with a mate or have been watching guys for a while get in right where they do their trick (without being in the way of course). I am in love with the window picture! I also agree with Harry on the wide angle for number 3 above

On this page....
Of the first set, 1 and 11 are my favs, not sure whay Harry is on about with no colour in 11?? There is heaps of colour smile.gif I didn't even have to click on no.1 to know it is a cool shot (polariser??) Also really like no.1 at City Hall. Lucky you to get in there when it was empty.

I just meant that there is no ONE bright object that acts as a focal point, either through color, DOF or exposure.

I see, fair point, not sure if it needs it though, to me this shot tells a story, it's more of a landscape photo (I would have shot it in landscape) than a subject shot.

i really like the second pic mate, it has nice colors.

I was about to arc up and say it looks crooked, but its just the wideangle distortion that gives off that effect. You should try defisheying some of your shots on photoshop. Im not sure how to do it exactly, but i know it can be done.

The first shot looks odd becuase of the color of the sky, maybe a good CPL filter will help with that?

1st is a bit under-exposed and there is nothing happening in it. Little boring.

2nd is great. Love the angle, the shower is cool and the wide lens is brilliant for DOF.

3rd is good but at that size I have nfi what the ppl look like or what they are doing.

4th, great shot, love the DOF, not too much but just enough to make it look good. It leads your eye along the path the thongs are about to take, very cool. I like shots like that which show the path about to be travelled, they lead your eyes really well compared to shots that show the path already travelled which kinda push u into a wall (so to speak).

My favs are 2 and 4, both great shots.

Woah, I've missed the last 3 sets up until now! GP you have excelled yourself! There are some real beautys in there. Looking back at the last ones from Snapper, the watch tower shot is great but I couldn't help but feel like the bottom of the shot was cropped, I actually sat here waiting for the image to finish loading thinking there was a bit more on the bottom.

The last one at Snapper is f-ing brilliant with the thongs in the sand, I cant think of any way to critique it other than the composition and DOF works really well, and that I feel like I've been there myself now. Great shot, one of the best I've seen on the forum.

As for the action shots, they are great as well. I always love the look of a natural panning circuit shot (as opposed to a PS'd one). Great job, you must have a steady hand for that.

Brilliant panning shots... At last, some non-spam panning shots! These are quality over quantity thumbsup.gif

I have no idea what kinda plant/tree it is i cut it back and now it's growing back. I just wanted to show just the one part might be a bit over down but i like it.

Nice job Ghetto, perhaps increased shadow for definition inside the pod would look good. Maybe even use a flash from the side so u can get extra shadows.

I bought a Nikon F55 with a Nikkor 28-80mm Film SLR and some Hoya Close up filters just for fun have already taken one roll of film can't wait to see the results.
All my lenses for my D50 work on it, it's cool as just gotta give it a real good clean.
