Don't know about this one though Harry, the quality of the Tamron is far off what I've managed to get with it in the past, but there's no denying how well the Sigma shapes up. No wonder its so popular...that and the fact Nikon can't supply enough 18-200s of their own Can't wait til you get it |

The color has actually been desaturated a bit, the camera absorbs ALOT of color! I even had the internal processing stuff turned off so that there is no in-camera saturation or contrast. Still comes out great through. I'll put a couple more up later on. Thanks Rainey, I can't wait to get my lens so I can do some more shoots. Harry |

I just got off the phone with them i can put money down now to secure the camera (which i'll be doing) but it's a month's wait till they are EXPECTED to come in so it will probaly be longer as the backlog right now is a month so i'll see how i go not in that much of a hurry anyway. |

QUOTE(parko @ Nov 3 2006, 12:17 PM) De pics? ----- I picked up my D80 body a couple of days ago. Fantastic piece of gear. Feels great in hand but as it's my first DSLR, that's not much to go by. The large LCD is really nice to use though, very crisp. Just awaiting lenses... then I may begin. I have been sooooo busy, I haven't had time to take any decent shots. I feel bad putting up anything less than what I would consider to be a good shot. I feel as though it is a bad reflection on this camera! I am sooo happy with it! I spose I could chuck a couple of non-arty ones up to show u how it performs. A couple of boring old city shots... 1. 2. Some from my Valedictory Dinner: 1. (ISO 800) - 2. 3. 4. (Me ) Comments/ Critisism welcomed. Not good shots IMO. Harry |

Can't wait till you get time to take shots what iso for the city shots?. I am so happy with this non-existant ISO noise! It's invisible at 100% crop! The city shots are ISO100, 30sec, f.11 |

QUOTE(Major @ Nov 4 2006, 05:16 PM) focus little man.... your shots are fault free most of the time... dont let me down now ! city shots are a touch over cooked... Thanks for the general comment about my shots, but what is the critisism (aside from the over-exposure of the city shots)? Do u mean that they are out of focus? Harry |
