I don't think i like the slower shutter on the action photos. Yeh I tend to agree (sometimes) for a few Of them it was in shadow so i didn't have a choice, but there were one or two where I did it on purpose to add movement. Thanks heaps mate. |

QUOTE(Rainey @ Oct 6 2006, 11:50 AM) Not bad Harry, I should ask my bro if he is happy for me to take some shots of him skating! I think a fisheye would be fantastic for that sort of thing, what do you reckon? I mean they do it with the video cameras in 411 Video Magazine etc. I wanted to do that really badly but the problem is that the loaction is all under shade cover and my fisheye NEEDS a very small aperture so the edges are not ridiculoously soft. I generally have to use f.29! So when I put it on in the shade and set it to f.29, I have to use a shutter speed of about 2secs and that is just useless. Yeh I would love to see someone else's skate pics if anyone has any. I have never tried Skate before. It's not that hard to shoot, just hard to find a location with evenly distributed lighting and one that is not a boring skate park. I'm not saying skate parks are bad, it's just that it has to be a cool looking skate park to give it a good backdrop and the right sort of mood. Harry |

Maybe i should try that, never even thought of it. Tomorrow i'll have a few up hopefully, going to reddie for bit of a skate. In a few weeks i should have some decent ones 'cause i get to go out with some local nationally sponsored guys. Can't wait. Skatepark photos suck in comparison to a nice set of stairs or gap. |

Don't know about this one though Harry, the quality of the Tamron is far off what I've managed to get with it in the past, but there's no denying how well the Sigma shapes up. No wonder its so popular...that and the fact Nikon can't supply enough 18-200s of their own Can't wait til you get it |
