I seriously NEED an AF macro lens, I am so sick of manual focus! I can deal with not having a light meter and doing full manual on guesswork but macro focussing is SOOOOO delicate at f.2! |

I like the second one as it's more simplistic and feel the composition is a bit better. |

I have had some mixed responses to my graffiti silhouette shots. Some have said they like them some have said they don't, no real middle ground. |

number three for the win personally... thats some pretty awesome shit there.. i take it you're using yourself and a torch on ...30 sec exposure? and thats a spray can you're throwing away? either way all three shots are wicked.. but number three is farking tops well done! |

i really like the silhouette graffiti shots, really captures the feel of the sort of mysterious and dark graffiti culture IMO. |

agreed with rainey about the second shot.. but i also like shot number four.. my eyes may bounce around it a little but theres enough not happening in the shot for me to appreciate it.. you have a continuation.. lines.. the fence, the over pass, the power pole/structure.. the passing car.. dont know if it sounds like i'm talking out my arse.. i've always been a big fan of things like that though.. might be because i can't draw a straight line |

QUOTE(Rainey @ Sep 12 2006, 07:42 AM) Harry that last set is decent but I think most of them lack good composure, the eerie feeling and colours are great but I find that I have trouble working out what the focus of each shot is. I think I like the 2nd one the most. The angle is good and the clouds are spectacular. If u are wondering what the focus of the shot is, I'll give you a clue... It starts with 'm' and ends with 'e' and there is a flash around it's silhouette... Look for the preedy lights. The surrounding is not supposed to be the focal point, it is there for it's colors and gloomy feel, not to be looked at closely. Thanks for the feedback though, I just thought it was a bit obvoious what the focal point/s were. Harry |

Never really understood the whole fish-eye thing sorry....I guess it's cool for small areas that you want to get as much of it in as possible (realestate photo's) I must admit though that there is a lot of scope for "arty" shots. |
