Wow.... I am so flabbergasted over the amount of replies I have just had! And here I was asking Nigel if I should even put her up as she isn’t finished yet… Thankyou all.

Not sure when i will be down next, was looking like in June, but i want to spend 2-3wks down their, so im prob going to do maybe a few months later than June. im still getting prices on sending her down by Truck/Train and driving back.

I had the Subaru and the Rx7.. but i was driving the Rx7 everyday and the WRX got garaged and kinda forgot about.. So i sold her to a guy in Melbourne whom hopefully appreciated her a bit more (only once i had my new car)



I wasnt with them choseing a turbo. I stated how much power i wanted to make and what i thought i needed and gave him money- They chose the manifold, Turbo and the brand of wastegate. i believe most of the stuff came from 999 Automotive.

Its awesome to have her on the road, sucks i cant hit too much boost & open the wastegate, but will be worth it shortly. (i hope haha) Keep the s5 they are sexual cars

yes a friend ran it into a wall - only structural damage nothing too major, but this isnt about wrx, its about rx7.

I would love to do formal runs, however its quite squishy in the back.. if you where going to take a partner - i wouldnt recommend it

Give her a few months or so and i probably will, as i dont really go out to much anymore and im buying a second car so this one can only be taken out on weekends. So probably will look at selling her in the near future.

Bloody oath they are hot cars, but i want to be different. I dont want the same kit that 80% of FD's you see out their have. C-west and Bomex. Im looknig more towards the "burnout kit", (never seen a FD on the road with this kit) It's just a killer in shipping fees so im guessing it can wait until i know 100% what i want for a kit, and how long i am gonig to keep my lil baby for.

No wonder this filled up so fast, that FD is sexual! Should be a beast when you're finished with the motor! Look forward to seeing it whenever someone organises a rotar cruise!

Very nice, you have to get the Burnout kit that is the best kit ever made also try and find out what turbo it is cause i dont know about those figures, it would need to be a pretty big bb turbo to get that espeshly on bens dyno that reads alot lower.

Yeah, on ben's dyno the figures are a lot lower. A first gen RX 7 got 290hp (217kw) on ben's dyno, then on Mazfix's dyno the first gen put out 315hp (236kw). Accorrding to Ben just because your car reads higher on different dyno's, it does not mean that your car is faster. The dyno is just a tuning tool.

Anyway keep us posted on the figures.

Thanks. I think with the wrx - you either loved it, or hated it. Its not that hard to afford the rx7, i owned the WRX outright, so that helpes so much in buying a second car.



lol thanks! i love my little baby. Motor should be finished Shortly. She is back at Mr Rotary until Tuesday or Wednesday (i dropped her off this morning) Then the car gets her computer and tuned hopefully beguning of next week - once everything is done.) The Rotor cruise should be awesome.. when is it happening??



Yeah im keen on that kit too - atm its the only kit i am interested in buying. Had it on order, but then opted to do the single turbo conversion. I will find out what turbo it is tonight and let you know. I took the car to some dyno place last week and he asked if it was a T88 (now i think they are big turbos?) But it isnt this turbo.



will do, but at the end of the day, im not after a dyno figure, im after a 1/4 mile figure. Just want a mid 12 and ill be pretty happy.

yeah swapped the pintara for an evo 4 which ill be selling again after fixing a couple of things. will sell the zed too as i have just got my bike licence and getting an R6. looking at getting an evo 8 aswell.

will have to catch up sometime
