ANZAC DAY CRUISE When: 25th April 2006 Meeting Point: springwood maccas leader: me and shanksy 10 For a 10:30 Leave SHARP!! ( you guys may want to make other meeting points, but its up to you, just as long as you are there (springwood) by 10:15 NORTHSIDE MEETS aspley - 7.30am meet >>> 8am leave milton - 8.30am meet >>> 9am leave i know that leaves a lot of time to get to springwood, but there are always people who are late.. so we may end up leaving aspley at say.. 8.15am.. or milton at 9.15 - 9.30am depending on people showing up... thanks to delliii for the northsiders meets times, Destination: Hinze Dam (via mt tambo) followed by the spit. 1. leave springwood maccas heading towards ramp for pacific motorway heading south. 2. continue along pacific motorway until Oxenford/Southport Rd Exit (exit 57) 3. Turn right at lights across overpass, then left at lights onto Old Pacific Highway 4. continue to roundabout and take 2nd exit onto Tambourine/Oxenford Road 5. drive for a long long way ) 6. Tambourine/Oxenford Rd then turns into Macdonnell Road 7. Turn right into Long Road (at roundabout, take 3rd exit) 8. Then turn right onto Eagle Heights Road (3rd exit at roundabout) (there is a sign for the tambourine mtns) 9. Then turn right onto Geissmann Road which turns into Tambourine Mountain Road. 10. Follow for a fair distance and you will end up on the top of mount tamborine. 11. Continue along until you reach a 4 way intersection, turn left onto Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road. 12. Continue along this road for about 4 ks, then turn left into Mundoolun Connection Road 13. Continue along this road and it will change into Pine St. 14. Continue along this road and it will change into Beaudesert-Nerang Road 15. Continue along this road for a long drive. 16. Turn right onto Nerang-Murwillumbah Road bit of a drive here 17. Turn left onto Advancetown Road. 18. Follow until you reach the dam wall, turn left onto dam wall and continue across 19. Turn right at end of dam wall and you will see the picnic grounds in front of you 20. EAT DRINK AND BE MERRY!!! What to Bring?
