[right][snapback]5876360[/snapback][/right] Agreed  Last time I went on a boost hinze dam cruize we came up through tamborine and then thourgh the barracks around canungra much better drive and more stops along the way. Today seemed to get there as quick as possible then nothing....once everyone realised there was nothing to do every one left. Still great cars to look at and ppls to talk to.

yeah i don't think many people were aware of the sausages and drinks as well as the show n shine... nice try with the organising though... next time though a suggestion might be @ the destination point maybe a little speech from the organiser informing all people about whats going on so that people know too enter the show n shine or too go get a feed (as some people there weren't from boostcruising so had no idea of what was happening)..... |

They need something to happen right then and there to keep them interested or they just bail and do their own thing. You have to remember guys that it is hard to organise that many cars (75+) into a small area, and co-ordinate a BBQ while also trying to keep everyone entertained. The show and shine was a planned event with prizes, but didnt go ahead due to a complete lack of interest. Food was offered, but no-one wanted it. Likewise with the drinks. We were even going to have grass hill sliding competitions, with esky lids and cardboard boxes, but everyone seemed to leave before we could get the BBQ equipment packed. I thought it was quite fun today infact, a good day all day, even after Hinze. |
