Because thats how you signalled a right turn in a LHD car before indicators? Or maybe so you can still use the front brake and be more in controlof steering. I'm more curious about the road marking of that picture! What a crazy road

hopefully i'm still coming... looks like it'd be 1 r32, 1 or 2 r33's (depending if i get in contact with the other guy)... maybe an r31 as well (but the guys being an ass and said he'd only go if he has a passenger... doesn't want too drive alone... boo hoo.)...
