I have done it. Unfortunately, toymods has a new forum and people are still getting used to it so I don't think many people have found the qld interstate cruises section. I have put a link in my sig there so hopefully we can get some good numbers smile.gif

Not car or cruise wise just people wise and demanding but they sort agrovated and invovle the wrong person so it is now pretty much just an irritating itch.

it's a short drive - from Aspley to Wivenhoe Dam is under 100K, as is Coomera to Wivenhoe if going via the Logan Motorway.

I doubt you'd need fuel for a return trip, but if you got stuck, there's heaps of servos along the way, the last BP being at Blacksoil when you leave the Brisbane-Toowoomba highway to head to Fernwood/Wivenhoe/Esk.

For those wanting to know how you might get to Wivenhow, these mapmaker links should give you an idea:
Aspley to Wivenhoe Dam
Goodna to Wivenhoe
Coomera to Wivenhoe via Logan Motorway

Activities/Facilities at Wivenhoe Dam:
BBQs – Wood and Electric
Boat Ramps
Boating (non-fuel motors)
Camping – Camp Manager Phone +61 7 54264729
Domestic Animals prohibited
Fishing
Picnics
Playgrounds
Shelter Sheds
Showers (at Camping areas)
Swimming
Toilets

JayJay
Post #117

Actually when Em and I went out there I think the trip meter thingy said about 90 - 100 *kilometres*, somewhere in between there.

The complication is a long one, I'll pm you with what happened.

pete: change the sensitivity of the input trigger to lower and see if the errors stop. If it does, then it is picking up interference from somewhere.

chris davey.... i didnt realise i had to reset the tps and set the ignition timing...just read that tonight... dont know much about stand alone ecu's. going to try and give it another go asap

JayJay
Post #129

It better be ready or the wrath of the Toyota god will smite you down if you drive anything other than a Toyota.

On a more serious note that's puts a downer on it if it's not ready, hope it all works out though.

Well that's gotta suck, The only thing I am hoping for is that my car is lowered and hopefully new exhaust before this cruise. I can hope though.

Gotta hope my job pays enough for it all.

SkiDMaN
Post #137

sorry guys im ganna have to pull out. my car is not going to be ready because the ecu needs to be sent away to be remapped then it would still need a tune and a few little other bits plus i also did not realise that drift day was on the same day. if my bro is going i will get him to take the lead from coomera to springwood but it aint too hard... once again... real sorry guys. im going to organise a cruise once mine is on the road
