yep i heard u on the radio this morning as well, i just woke up but i did get up at 7:30 just to hear the announcement. What a good one as well smile.gif. do you think we can raise the amount mentioned and end up donating to that poor little girl? paul, tim and moira were soounding very grateful when u mentioned that. I think instead of $10 i will give $20, specially if it rains. and you can count on me to buy some food!

Mate if we can fill the BWCP like we do on a Friday/Saturday night, and have 4000 people attend mate with the $10 per head and the BBQ we can do it. The car scene is big enough and the call is out there and I know we can do it!

This is our chance to show everyone the sort of people we really are, not the crap somoe media outlets would like the ublic to think too.

I don't honestly don't know, but I have over 1000 e-mails to answer from people wanting to know questions about the cruise so if that's any indication it's going to be massive!

I like the word massive biggrin.gif , especially when it's mated to charity event biggrin.gif

Ok for an update smile.gif

Trophies and stickers have been collected this afternoon. BoostedS15 (Chris) whom is the GC Cruise leader has already been given 400 stickers and is prepared for the morning. Tomorrow all other cruise leaders wil be given their section stickers etc etc. Each cruise leader will be given 400 stickers. If they run out more will be given to them upon arrival to the BWCP.

All we have to now is keep our fingers crossed the weather fines up and it's all systems go thumbsup.gif

Well I've had a long and lenghty chat to mother nature and she has decided she will co-operate fully with my request for fine weather on Sunday and from where I'm sitting now there is a hell of a lot of blue sky and sun shine biggrin.gif

I should be in the BWCP from 9:30-10:00am but due to the massive amount of organisation for this event I was unable to get IH8WRX back on the road for this Sunday sad.gif . I will have a two-way radio on me all day long and I will be, along with other helpers in the BWCP on the day on UHF Ch11. I will be in my Rodeo and for those that are not sure of my vehicle to look for me just click "My Ride" button and you can see it there smile.gif

Yes and they will be working with us, not against us on the day by escorting the cruise. They have also been invited to put on a display in the BWCP for the little kids and also to answer any questions any of us may have over modifications etc etc and it looks like they just might do this depending on their numbers on the day:)

Nah, just old mother nature and I had a heart to heart last night. I knew she would come through for me biggrin.gif .

Just picked up a couple of hundred loaves of bread, drinks and two grocery trollies filled right to the top of top quality sausages. There is enough there to feed an entire Army and then some. Was a long hot drive from Tweed Heads to Ipswich and back.
