with regard to UHF's if u intend to buy some.. go for the uniden dual pack...lots of fun if u got 2 cuz u can fuck around with ya mates on em. they are off the top of my head... $58 from bris car sound ( maybe cheaper ) a set of duracell's last around 10 hours of use (depending)

for the northside group. please leave the car park clean and not like Macca"s car park on a thursday night. otherwise permission might not be given next year.
I take it permission has been obtained to use this carpark?

This is just a suggestion... someone has probably already said it, but why don't you find volunteers to stand at each entrance and ask the people for their donations on the way in.... then u could aslo walk around and ask random people......

just an idea! thumbsup.gif

EDIT: you might need special shirts or something to make sure no one is walking around asking for money for themselves.... stupid tools dry.gif

Umm there will be people at the entrances taking the donations and handing out stickers smile.gif Pretty much the car park is reserved for all making a donation of $10 fo the stickers.

On the sticker it says categories, what does that mean, do u have to tell the cruise leader what u whanta enter, eg...db....show n shine???
I whanta go in db, ill probly get floged in to the ground, but I woulden't mind testing the volume of it...

Ok folks. I have just been in touch with Sea-FM on the Gold Coast and I have some very special and important news.

There is a very special little girl Macy, at present that is 3yrs old and is very sick with Lukemia. Sea-FM have organised a big fundraising event to help this porr sick little girl, and it's called the "Merry Kiss-Mass". Basically on Sunday the 19th December at the park on the beach at Burleigh there will be a massive "worlds biggest kiss off" in an attempt to break the world record for the most number of people kissing in one spot at the same time. Now the lovely people at the GC Hospital have agreed that if Sea-FM help us with an "on-air" interview and we raise over $50,000 they will give $5,000 to Macy's appeal thumbsup.gif

So some clown, who most of you are probably sick of right now wishing he would just shut the hell up (yes me) will be speaking on air on Friday morning on Sea-FM between 7:30am-8:00am (Q.L.D. time) to the sexy and sophisticated Moyra cool.gif , Yobbo Paul biggrin.gif and usually the moring crew refeere Tim tongue.gif

Not only this but the Sea-FM team will be looking at this link on a regular basis now as I have forwarded it to them to see just how much hard work has gone into this.

So please lets make this a huge one, keep it nice and polite and well behaved and lets hope we can save a sick little girl in her fight for life and also put a smaile on other sick little kids faces.

Thanks Nathan smile.gif . I don't have facilities to record the interveiw with tho sorry sad.gif . All I know is that it will be a live interveiw between 7:30am-8am Friday morning so maybe someone off BC might be kind enough to record it somehow and send it to you dunno.gif

If anyone is able to record it that would be great as Nathan might be able to like it to the topic somehow.

Pat, I asked the same question and Moyra laughed at me laugh.gif . They did say however that were catering for single people on the day to match them up with someone so you never know your luck in a big city biggrin.gif

I believe the merry-kiss-mass is in kurruwa park(broadbeach), not burleigh. Correct me if im wrong. Thats what they've been saying on the ray-de-o.
