Most manufacturers have that 'sports' model. It comes at a premium, but it 'inspires' passion. Not only for the vehicle but the brand. Manufacturers who fail to recognise that are risking inviting a decline in their brand.

That's one of the things that have made Telsa's p90d stand out from other electric vehicle manufacturers and has allowed it's success. The p90d was the perfect marketing platform to launch the company.
