The day has come where I am distancing myself from motor vehicles (for now) and moving to other interests. The current motor vehicle industry is going in a direction that I am not particularly interested in. New motor vehicles do not interest me one bit and older vehicles that are mildy interested in are priced out of the stratosphere (NSX, GTR, RX7, older porsches, Merc SL, old aussie and american muscle to name a few). It was great while it lasted

Rotors have been priced out for the last ten years, you've gotta be a concreter now to be able to afford one. It's getting hard now even to find a motor. And the last GFC that saw most motoring companies drop anything that was vaguely exciting has seen what is now going to be a ten year gulf in older performance vehicle that would have now been affordable sadly lacking. Unless you like Toyota '86's, even then you probably can't modify it with any decent engine combination.

Save your money Slav, buy a house and in twenty years time when you've set yourself up find something that excites you. thumbsup.gif

If you've been watching Fast N Loud - i think it was earlier this season - this is the aftermath of the C10 that was crashed on the show.

We normal people are being pushed out of the market by the cashed-up individuals, who I suspect see these cars as "investments", rather than a form of transport.

I have moved to another hobby which offers a much better value proposition, still offers a DIY aspect to it and a relatively large community behind it, so it doesn't bother me that much.
