I have got to say, I am absolutely loving Germany. The autobahn is a highlight. All of the infrastructure is there to introduce it in Aus, the roads are no better than ours, and it is not dangerous at all. It is not the case that everyone must drive fast, everyone drives to their own abilities, and the vast majority do not go over 200kmh. Most stick to 150-170kmh and everyone knows not to stay in the fast lane unless overtaking. I think that AUS drivers are appalling and it would not go well if introduced.
