Looks like a decent venue but I made myself a promise never to go to a downshift meet ever again the venues good, nice parkland area that has plenty of space. i've been there a few times for other car events / old school 50's shows etc. I was too hammered from standing out in the sun half the day on the Saturday at QR, that i didn't attend the Downshift event. I drank 4lt of water for the day, The rx7 is such a hot vehicle with a heap of heat coming through the floor pan / firewall. I was having troubles again with hot fuel as well - i believe - i'll need to investigate it again. It's cutting out a bit, hesitating like it's got a big flat spot when you place it under load in the mid range or get up it a bit. I thought that i had it sorted, but phew, 35 degree day isn't helpful. It can sit in the shed for another week, last club cruise for the year is on the 20th, if it's hot i'll just take a different car. |

bastards QUOTE We want our triangles back! Chocolate fans are furious after Toblerone makers increase the gaps between the iconic peaks to make the bars smaller
Toblerone has increased gaps between chocolate bar's triangular chunks The 400g bars will reduce in weight to 360g and 170g bars will go to 150g Change was made because of 'higher costs for numerous ingredients' Owner Mondelez said exchange rate was 'not favourable' after Brexit Chocolate fans have vented their fury after Toblerone increased the gaps between the bar's iconic triangular chunks as a cost-cutting measure to reduce the weight. The controversial change to the Swiss chocolate bar was made because of the 'higher costs for ingredients' in the wake of Brexit. Mondelez International, which owns Toblerone, denied the change was made 'as a direct result of Brexit', but it pointed out the exchange rate was 'not favourable'. The move has resulted in the weight of the 400g bars being reduced to 360g and the 170g bars to 150g, while the price remains the same. |

She announced that the theme park operator will demolish the Thunder River Rapids ride out of respect for the families of those who lost their lives. "The closure of the ride is the only respectful and appropriate course of action," she said. "No ride at Dreamworld will operate until the Workplace Health and Safety Audit has been completed and unless it passes the multi-level internal and external review process." |

Let's just say I was happy to see Hilary lose. Not sure Trump is the right man for the job, but only time will tell. At least the first lady is decent i'm happy to see an easing of the sheer amount of trump media stories. i was really hoping that he'd lose and the whole phenomenon would disappear into obscurity. unfortunately it's going to continue, no doubt lurching from crisis to crisis |

I need to upgrade my intercooler (the biggest that can fit under stock bumper) put on my car. I just need to find a shop that will do it for me. any suggestions? all my contacts are rotary related or more engineering / fabrication related. I'd say contact Ben @ RMS and see what he says, it can't hurt to ask. I believe that he's slowly getting on top of things with him employing a new mechanic to help him. Where did Doc get all his work done? Cjs or something down southside? Possibly try Mercury Motorsports. |
