Man choices to make, the partner is allowing me to spend $2k on whatever i want, i'm thinking a gaming pc or some bike parts ha. Options 1. It's a TRAP 2. Spend it on her, then you'll be able to spend 4k next time. 3. Coke and Hookers, but meh that's so 90's 4. Gaming keeps you in the house. Bike parts keep you mobile and out and about. What's the most important. Does the missus also 'game'? Pc or console? you can bet that there's going to be a 'new' console in the next 1-2 years, and frankly, games are so flipping expensive. 5. There needs to be other options. idea, get another previously unexplored hobby. 6. Set up a secret slush fund and let it grow. |

i went onto youtube to see if i could find the other bands song and make a comparison and found the clip where someone's made this video addressing the issue. QUOTE Led Zeppelin Face Stairway To Heaven Lawsuit Two members of band Led Zeppelin are to face a jury over claims they stole the opening chord progressions of their classic Stairway To Heaven. On Friday, US District Judge Gary Klausner said the 1971 song and an instrumental work called Taurus, written by the band Spirit in 1967, had "substantial" similarities. His decision means that Led Zeppelin's lead singer Robert Plant and guitarist Jimmy Page will appear on 10 May in a Los Angeles court accused of copyright infringement. The judge said: "While it is true that a descending chromatic four-chord progression is a common convention that abounds in the music industry, the similarities here transcend this core structure," he wrote. "What remains is a subjective assessment of the 'concept and feel' of two works ... a task no more suitable for a judge than for a jury." The lawsuit was brought by Michael Skidmore, a trustee for the late Randy Wolfe, who was Spirit's guitarist and composer of Taurus. Mr Skidmore says the two bands toured together in 1968 and 1969 and this may have been when Page was inspired to write Stairway To Heaven. According to Mr Skidmore's lawsuit, Wolfe had complained about the similarity between the two songs not long before he drowned in 1997 while attempting to rescue his son. Plant and Page, however, say that Wolfe was a songwriter for hire and, therefore, had no claim to copyright. They also say that the chord progressions in Stairway To Heaven were too well-known for such protection. Stairway to Heaven has earned Led Zeppelin hundreds of millions of pounds and is one of the most successful rock songs of all time. But the British rockers often drew inspiration from other groups and some of these have resulted in legal challenges. As a result, the band has already been forced to alter the credits and pay portions of their royalties for songs such as Babe I'm Gonna Leave You and Whole Lotta Love. |

how's that coming along? still a ways away yet? Its getting closer to the end, waiting on clarification for permanent injuries so my lawyer can finalise a settlement to benefit years down the track where i need to change my career. I am only able to lift 15kgs and not a gram more and pain in my right shoulder for the rest of life, my partner has also been told she'll never work again. |

a holy fcuk may be in order. QUOTE Feel The Wind Rip Your Face Off In A 265 MPH HENNESSEY VENOM GT! John Hennessey and team have a penchant for breaking records. While the whole “what is really a production car” argument rages on in terms of who can attain the top speed for a production car, his Venom GT Spyder smashed the record held by the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. Now, whether or not the Venom GT Spyder is technically a production car is open for debate, the car is seriously quick, laying down that epic 265 mile per hour record with an open top! ^^^^ that's 427km/hr |
