Seven months ago, Australia was first introduced to the ostentatious couple during their fairy tale wedding - which closed off a western Sydney street and infuriated some of Mr Mehajer's fellow City of Auburn councillors. A video made for the wedding about their love story turned out to be a farce, but Mr Mehajer got what he truly wanted out of the nuptials: attention. But it appears as though the attention he craved has now started to cost him. Along with notoriety, Mr Mehajer's actions as a developer and deputy mayor, in addition to court proceedings launched against him, have been widely covered by the Australian media. Social commentator Prue MacSween says that all along, it has been a relationship based on Salim's hunger for fame. "Maybe they were fighting each other for the mirror in the morning, maybe she was showing more style than him - because she certainly had more class than he did," MacSween said.  A Current Affair attempted to contact Salim Mehajer, but have not received a response at the time of publication. |

The 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine uses the same block, heads, valvetrain, crankshaft, pistons and dry sump lubrication system as the production car. Honda says “initial development” of the NSX GT3 took place in Japan with the company’s racing arm testing the vehicle on circuits both locally and in Europe. We tune in to the runway action as the cars throttle down and the Koenigsegg almost immediately has the advantage as it pulls further and further into first place. Toyota’s turned to turbo power for its stab at the 2016 World Endurance Championship. Revealing full details on its all-new TS050 Hybrid racecar, the firm announced its LMP1 contender will be powered by a new 2.4-litre twin-turbo V6. The new engine, which replaces the TS040’s 3.7-litre V8, is direct injected, split at 90 degrees, and accounts for half of the new car’s 736kW output. Making up the other half of the car’s power is an upgraded hybrid unit which continues the TS040’s twin-axle setup that sees an electric motor power allocated one axle. Energy will be drawn from lithium-ion batteries as opposed to the supercapacitors relied on last year, charged by motor-generators during braking, which sees the TS050 to move up to the 8-megajoule hybrid class. Toyota says the transmission has been updated to handle increased torque but hasn’t revealed how much more twist the car produces. Over 22,000km testing kilometres were put on the TS050 Hybrid design prior to the WEC season, but it's yet to be seen whether Toyota will match its competitors who severely outpaced the Japanese firm at last year’s Le Mans 24 Hours.
