The Surgeon that performed my last operation has retired,so I looked like having to travel to John Flynn,but we have since sourced a reputable one locally (through my wife's medical connections),that I got in to see surprisingly quickly last November,and it was shit for brains me that said at the time,I can make it until the end of February.The Mrs was going to shoot through a couple of weeks after the operation,but has since changed her mind,I can't legally drive,for six weeks after the operation,so I think that's what's made her reflect,and take the risk of me trying to jump her old bones. My son is not married,but there seems to be a stalemate at the moment,one is a business executive that doesn't like the weather here,one is a farm boy that doesn't like city life,they both have their own units,so one will have to be put on the rental market if there is a shift.My son stepped straight into a job managing a big Macca farm for a family,doing the same sort of work that he knows is hurting him.His future Father-in-Law,is a bloke my vintage or older,and wants to wind the business back a notch,so at present will not take any projects over one million dollars,so not sure where that's going.In the interim,I'm getting pretty familiar with the road to Coolangatta Airport Travel is a grey area,I already have roughly forty countries under my belt,I don't really want to go back to countries like Afghanistan,Iraq or Iran again,and unfortunately,drop kicks from these countries,are now making me wary of visiting the others.What we did,was we wanted to go to the UK,and we reckoned we could get there for the same cost traveling overland,using public transport,as jumping on a plane.It took six months to reach the UK,and we arrived in their Summer,so we used London as our base,visiting the Scandinavian countries,while it was warm,and we were flush with cash,and coming back to a live-in work positions in the UK,(which was an experience in itself),once it became too cold to travel ,we did this for two and a half years.On the trip,our first port of call was Bali,and my Mrs has been back a few times for a break,because it is close,but it is so touristy now at Kuta,that she stays at Ubud,up in the mountains,now with these current terrorist threats,I don't think she's real keen anymore,and like the farm,I would sooner remember it as it was. Wouldn't mind seeing New Zealand,and in Australia,up around Kakadu,plus around the top end but when and how is still an unknown.My son was going to Japan but changed it to the USA,so I'll see how enthused he is when he gets back. So that's my undie draw empty Alpha Just to keep it real,the hospital just rang to say I have to have my admission papers in tomorrow,then go and give an armful of blood,and then on the 9th have more Xrays done,plus spend the morning at the Orthopedic Clinic,so all starting to happen |

Salim's going to be tied up in court processes for the next few years for all the dodgy shit that he's been doing. it'll cost him a pretty penny no doubt, though i can't see our soft court system sending him to jail for anything at the moment. but that's money for you, being able to afford the best representation and pay your way out of jail. |

AGL is pulling out of coal seam gas in Australia, ceasing its exploration and winding down or selling its operational gas fields. Plummeting global oil prices was cited by AGL as one of the main reasons for the decision, in its announcement to the ASX on Thursday morning, as well as lower than expected production volumes from one of its fields in NSW. AGL said a review had concluded that “production of natural gas assets will no longer be a core business for the company”. |
