Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle gets more than 15 years in prison for sex crimes
NOVEMBER 20, 20159:26AM

NOW he’ll find out what a decade and a half of prison bologna sandwiches will do.

The Subway sandwich chain’s ex-pitchman, Jared Fogle, was slammed with a 15-year, 8-month sentence on child porn charges Thursday, after a hearing in which his shrinks blamed his more than 90-kilogram weight loss for turning him “hyper-sexual.”
Subway’s turkey footlongs made him a sex-crazed paedophile, Fogle had claimed in a last-ditch try for leniency.

Fogle “traded a horrible food addiction for a horrible sex addiction,” defence lawyer Jeremy Margolis had argued at sentencing.
Fogle himself spoke during the sentencing hearing, drawing two deep breaths and then telling the judge, “for most of my adult life, I’ve been in the spotlight, trying to be a role model.”
Then, “I became dependent on alcohol, pornography and prostitutes,” he claimed, in what was his first public statement on the lurid case.

“Not a day will go by when I don’t think about what I did. Members of my family are also victims of my acts,” he told the judge, noting that his wife, the mother of his two young children, will now be a single mother.
“You gave your wife $7 million (AU$9.7 million),” US District Judge Tanya Walton Pratt snapped back. “She’ll be okay.”

naturally the stories true, this being the entertainment industry and all rolleyes.gif , which just leaves me to say, if there was anyone out there that NEEDED to go to a gym it's flabbyschumer.

see, i'm a comedian too. mamoru.gif

AMY SCHUMER TOO ‘FAMOUS’ TO CHECK IN THE GYM?

Has fame gone to comedian Amy Schumer’s head?

Apparently Amy Schumer pulled the “don't you know who I am” card at an Equinox gym in New York City when she was asked to proof of her gym membership.

According to Page Six, “She felt entitled to just walk in,” without talking to anyone. “She didn’t want to show her key fob and wanted to be able to go in and not be questioned.”

The embarrassing situation didn’t stop there - sources say the Trainwreck star declared, “I’m famous” when employees didn’t recognise her and insisted she go through the typical check-in procedure.

The star may be getting too big for her britches with reports emerging that she then ‘stormed off’ and didn’t get her workout in.

A spokesperson for Equinox denied reports that the comedian had a meltdown and insisted the interaction was “simply a back-and-forth with staffers who didn’t immediately know who she was.”

Look, we get that the star may want to get hot and sweaty under the radar, but if this story is true, the gym employees were just doing their job!

I think QR have something good going with Saturday night roll racing. Great atmosphere and no idiots present. Maybe its because you have to pay to enter.
I would have entered but I do not have a helmet

Its really good. even for spectating. Was really funny seeing the rotarys smashing the v8s. The only things is you need a helmet to go on track.
Im not sure if the DS C&C is still crowded as previous times but I would be keen for the one next month

Looking at the QR calendar, in Jan there will be a night DS C&C which will be really good.

Similar but better. Only two cars are allowed on the main straight at a time. There is no traffic on the straight where they are racing.
There is a person controlling who can go and when, giving ample time for the others finish. This is on the other side of the track

Depends what I get next...it may be something more suitable!

On that,
Opinions:

NSX - 575 hp hybrid, 0-60 2.9, not timed anywhere yet.

Corvette C7 Z07 - 650 hp, 0-60 2.9, currently 10th fastest car around Laguna Seca (ie; it handles).

Vette is about 20k cheaper.

A woman driving along at speed passed over a bridge only to find a cop with a radar gun on the other side lying in wait. The cop pulled her over, walked up to the car, with that classic patronizing smirk & asked, 'What's your hurry?'
She replied, 'I'm late for work.'
'Oh yeah,' said the cop, 'what do you do?'
'I'm a Rectum Stretcher,' she responded.
The cop stammered, 'A what?............
'A Rectum Stretcher!'
'And just what does a rectum stretcher do?'
'Well,' she said, 'I start by inserting one finger in the rectum, then work my way up to two fingers, then three, then four, then with my whole hand in I work from side to side until I can get both hands in, and then I slowly but surely stretch it, until it's about 6 feet'
'And just what the hell do you do with a 6 foot arsehole?' he asked
'You give him a radar gun & park him behind a bridge...

Looks pretty authentic to me,I took as a bit of a push for that make of dash cam,but I also paused it a couple of times,to try and identify what the fcuk was launched into the air,and you can definitely see the strike, plus the flash, then the vehicle seems to roll to a halt.My Mrs showed it to me on that Higgins Storm Chasing site,so when I went looking for it I found they also put up the You Tube link.Might go back, and read the comments

Well I went back and watched it on You Tube, and a lot of the "fake" comments are from keyboard warriors, but I took the advice of a couple, and put the video on it's highest definition, and slowed the speed down to its slowest. You can see the explosion is fake, but I think the lightning strike might be genuine,it hasn't actually caused any real damage,it's just that it has been enhanced,to make it a bit more spectacular, because as i said before it comes across as an advert.I think it still comes back to the council workers wondering what the fcuk happened to the road, because that's what the lightning hit (not the fourbee),you can see the road damaged when it hits, and its still evident after, just not to the extent that there was shit flying everywhere. So,I think it happened, but yep fake because it's been enhanced to make it look better

Fine tuning engines to the point that they are today in terms of sophistication took a whole heck of a lot of time. Engines prior the 21st century (more so pre 50’s) especially lacked the kind of sophistication the engines of today take for granted.

Although they weren’t exactly what you would call efficient in todays market place these antiques are pretty fun to observe when someone does decide to crank one back up. Here we have a Fairbanks Model 32D was built in 1936 and is an absolute monster. It is said that when you crank this puppy up the earth literally moves which is a nice addition to the smoke its blowing out from every angle.

Thats one behemoth of an engine. I’d really like to see something like this in person, I just can’t get enough of huge working pieces of machinery like this.

looking at it i couldn't equate wtf it was that came of the vehicle either. bitumen debris you could understand but some sort of metal plate of the 4wd / no idea. could only be something that's mounted on the rear, nothing comes to mind as being plausible.

Did you read my theory above^^^^^^^^ I'm not sure if that was edited into the explosion,or not,I was thinking it might be a man hole type inspection cover, but what ever it was,it didn't seem to land right.Do what I did,and watch it in slow-mo,on YouTube, you can see the actual lightning strike, but all the fire, and brimstone has been added

3000hp Corvette Goes AIRBORNE!
1320video

Published on Nov 23, 2015
3000 horsepower?! It was no surprise that traction was a bit of a problem as the drivers attempted 200mph passes at the WannaGOFAST Texas 1/2 Mile. We would have NEVER expected to see the car slide 300+ feet sideways before jumping over a two lane road like a rally car! What a save! While this crazy Kelly Bise Racing Corvette wasn't turned all the way up to it's 3,000hp potential, you can see by the TWIN 88mm Turbo's tucked under the rear bumper, feeding the 427ci engine... this thing can make some SERIOUS power!

Typically parachutes will straighten you out when you get in trouble like the driver here did, but you can see the chute TORN out of the back bumper mid-spin, resulting in a crazy ride.
